There was a new Canadian show released last night which I wasn’t able to post, and u know me, I always like give new show a post, so here it is. “The Line” follows a collection of cops, criminals and everybody in between as they intersect then fall with the rhythms of a combustible suburban wasteland. In this world there are no heroes or villains, only intimacy and the constant biting humour of what life deals its players. The series unfolds in the style of a visual novel, with interconnected layers continually revealing themselves and deepening the story.

“The Line” opens in a seedy motel room. Max Friel, a cop with his own agenda and a sarcastic edge, cheats on his wife with burned-out legal aid lawyer Jayne Huxley. Outside the motel, Max’s slightly unhinged partner Donny Logan waits, drunk, in his car……
