It didn’t took long from screener to dvd screener and guys from well-respected scene group DoNE released another decent rip of a limited thriller Life Before Her Eyes. Starring Uma Thurman in the main role, this looks like pretty good movie. Both image and video quality is perfect, considering it’s a dvd screener. The retail DVD date is half of the August so this is a pretty early release.

A dramatic thriller about Diana, a suburban wife and mother who begins to question her seemingly perfect life–and perhaps her sanity–on the 15th anniversary of a tragic high school shooting that took the life of her best friend. In flashbacks, Diana is a vibrant high schooler who, with her shy best friend Maureen, plot typical teenage strategies–cutting class, fantasizing about boys–and vow to leave their sleepy suburb at the first opportunity. The older Diana, however, is haunted by the increasingly strained relationship she had with Maureen as day of the school shooting approached. These memories disrupt the idyllic life she’s now leading with her professor husband Paul and their young daughter Emma. As older Diana’s life begins to unravel and younger Diana gets closer and closer to the fatal day, a deeper mystery slowly unravels.

    Thanks for the upgrade in quality. I have to agree with #3 though. I really disliked the movie despite being a pretty big fan of Evan Rachel Wood.

    Very good movie, but not for simple minds and instant thrills. Acting, plot and direction is excellent. If the previous release was vhs quality, it was the best looking vhs I’ve ever seen, but the audio was fairly poor. Hopefully this will improve upon that issue.

    Just to let people know, It’s not “perfect”.

    It has a blurred out watermark at the top of the screen, some property of messages and black and white scenes.
