The Last Legion DVDRip XviD-BeStDivX

Wow, that’s a nice surprise for Sunday’s evening. It’s literaly 3 minutes since group BeStDivX released a fine dvdrip mislabeled R5 rip of The Last Legion. You’ve probably heard about this medieval movie thanks to early R5 rip. The funny thing is it’s pretty hard to find any torrent of it, because the production company emailed all torrent servers with removal letter. This doesn’t change anything on this dvdrip though. As I said earlier, if you like medieval movies, Robin Hood and stuff like that, The Last Legion will be good for you…

The Last Legion, based on Valerio Massimo Mandredi’s novel of the same name, is an action packed adventure drama set against the fall of Rome that tells the story of its last emperor, the young Romulus Augustus, who flees the city and all that he loves: his family, his home, and an empire that once stood for truth and honor, to lead a legion of supporters on a perilous voyage to Britain. The film, adapted by David Leland, is directed by Doug Lefler, produced by Martha and Dino De Laurentiis and stars Colin Firth, Ben Kingsley, James Cosmo, Rupert Friend and Iain Glen.

I don’t understand why are some people so quick to trash other people. This site is made entirely of good will, no one is doing this for the profit. Why do that people criticize when something less good happens? is it envy?
OK, it’s not a Scene DVDRip. Do you think the poster made it on purpose? to trick their readers?
    It’s all so childish…

Good work Martin !!! Good work ReleaseLog crew !!!

“if you like medieval movies, Robin Hood and stuff like that, The Last Legion will be good for you…”

So i guess you didn’t see it? ;)
It is so bad, you almost feel like you’re watching one of those parodic movies (Scary movie, Epic movie…) only here they took Rome and Lord of the Rings as a basis (seriously!)

    Thanks for the up.

My 2 cents re: this film. Has a good theme, but just becomes a comedy flick with corny lines added frequently. One minute its a serious movie, then the next a comedy, then back to serious. Would’ve suited better if it was an entirely serious film. I’m sorry but Aishwarya Rai has got to be one of the most overated “actress” floating around. She is terrible in this film.

very nice movie, its an adventure/fantasy, they mix several
myths in this movie, those who say its crap does not seem to
have watched it, or simply did not get that part.

Got some realy nice vistas and some decent cgi, but nothing
mindblowing, Ok acting, great theme and atmosphere. It works
well and the funny part is the main lead from ‘Rome’ plays
    one of the badguys.

Prison islands, escapes, sieges, trecking to strange
countries, huge battles, pretty lady warrior, magic swords
and evil villains. And its a bit corny hehe, but fun.

Ofcourse it could be better, but it could also be a hell
of alot worse. i give it a 7 out of 10, mostly, becouse
when i was done watching, i sat there with a good feeling.
    And that is rare nowadays.

Oh, and Middle ages.. started around the 5th century
(when Rome fell), and to the 15th century.
So, one can say that the roman empire stood (and fell) in
    the middle ages.
Though, one should not look upon this movie with the
expectations of it being a documentary from the History
    Channel. Doh!
