I saw the first 15 mins and the subtitles are hard coded – it was a great book but I don’t see the movie being able to match – it was really narrative driven in the book so we’ll see…

@33… I’ll second your suggestion of explaining common nuke questions on this site. I’ve been in the IT industry since year dot, but torrents are quite new to me (<1yr) so if I’m scratching my head at some of the acronyms and abbreviations around here, I’m sure others are too. It would help cut down the number of “is this still watchable/worth it” questions and similar repetitious posts. Of course, its not like the majority would take the time to read it, since they don’t even read the comments to get up to speed on the individual torrents! I would appreciate it, though!

The Kite Runner was my freshman summer reading selection in 2005 at Duke University, so I think it’s been out a little longer than a few months guys. Khaled Hosseini came and spoke as well, and he is a great mind.
