The Kingdom CAM VCD-NYSLVR

The Kingdom looks like its a pretty decent thriller film. It stars a lot of well known actors and actresses such as Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner and Chris Cooper. It uses the whole terrorists trying to kill westerners plot which i think is wearing a bit thin but other than that the trailer made it look good. On to the all important quality of this CAM, its pretty bad and its made worse by the fact that’s in VCD format instead of the usual XViD. The video image is blurry and it appears to suffer from some quite bad ghosting which is made all the more apparent because its a action movie with the camera moving about a lot. The audio is much better thankfully, very audible and clear but its missing the bass and quality to make it nice to listen to if you know what i mean. Additionally this has been nuked but its nothing to do with release itself: [stolen.from.p2p]. Haha that nuke reason always makes me laugh! Anyhow if your willing to put up with the deficiencies of this release and the nuke reason (lol) then give it a download and (try to) enjoy The Kingdom a few days before it hits cinemas!

Plot: When a terrorist bomb detonates inside a Western housing compound in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, an international incident is ignited. While diplomats slowly debate equations of territorialism, FBI Special Agent Ronald Fleury (Jamie Foxx) quickly assembles an elite team (Chris Cooper, Jennifer Garner, and Jason Bateman) and negotiates a secret five-day trip into Saudi Arabia to locate the madman behind the bombing. Upon landing in the desert kingdom, however, Fleury and his team discover Saudi authorities suspicious and unwelcoming of American interlopers into what they consider a local matter.

Hamstrung by protocol-and with the clock ticking on their five days-the FBI agents find their expertise worthless without the trust of their Saudi counterparts, who want to locate the terrorist in their homeland on their own terms. Fleury’s crew finds a like-minded partner in Saudi Colonel Al-Ghazi (Ashraf Barhoum), who helps them navigate royal politics and unlock the secrets of the crime scene and the workings of an extremist cell bent on further destruction. With these unlikely allies sharing a propulsive commitment to crack the case, the team is led to the killer’s front door in a blistering do-or-die confrontation. Now in a fight for their own lives, strangers united by one mission won’t stop until justice is found in The Kingdom.

First of all…if you are going to make a video and “shoot it” in Saudi Arabia…at least get the licence plate of the cars correct like the format…Also, portray them probably…dont bring me some mexicans or spanish and dress them up and make them Arabs…someone from the Arab world should make a video about Americans and portray them as rednecks or dress them like Uncle sam!!!!

Anyways…I will wait for an R5 or DVDSCR….

I’m getting tired of those outside the U.S. lumping all Americans into the same group as the pieces of shit that happen to be in office.

WE FUCKING HATE THOSE BASTARDS AND THEIR WAR MONGERING FOR MONEY AND OIL BULLSHIT!!! IF THERE WAS SOMETHING WE COULD DO AS INDIVIDUALS TO MAKE IT STOP, WE FUCKING WOULD!

It’s not fair to base your feelings on a whole people for what those in power do. Hate those fuckers all you want.

And I hope for the day they’re held responsible for the shit they’ve done.

If you want to blame the idiots who voted for these psychos, not once but twice, and carry on their agenda, I’m right there with you. But please leave the rest of us out of it.

  22. E
    September 27th, 2007 | 01:33

D is absolutely correct. Just because we in the US live in a democratic society where a majority of the citizens voted our leaders into power doesnt mean that the people are to blame. The moment the leaders do something we dislike, we let you know that they stole the election.

And yes, we all hate oil in this country, at least when it is expensive. We are very upset that the war has not reduced the price of oil for us yet.

We all know why the United States of America has major problems…. E-D-U-C-A-T-I-O-N.

I have lived in both the USA and The Netherlands (Holland) and taken part in both societies, cultures, and school systems; the distinction in my mind is very clear.

First and foremost it is prudent to point out that the aggregate here in the USA is very uneducated. If you go to a high school in the USA and compare it to a finishing school in Europe you would be very appalled at the differences. Americans tend to be very unaccepting of other cultures and languages and in Europe you will see that most students speak 3 possibly even 4-5 languages; many young adults in the US can barely write (let alone speak) their own native language properly.

The foreign language programs are a joke. My senior year (final year in USA school system) i virtually had to teach my German 1 teacher German as her basic grasp of German was somewhat of a joke and she was in no way qualified to teach other students the language, she was simply repeating exercises out of a book and her explanations of the lessons and pronunciations of German were laughable; i could plainly see this and German is not even my native language. Math is also horrendous and it is somewhat of a dirty secret that the US school system tries to get as many kids graduated as possible with only BASIC algebra as their maximum course of study….. THIS IS APPALLING ! Students in the final years of American school are learning things that European children are mastering by their 6th-7th year of school.

Furthermore Americans are completely comfortable (and somewhat proud) to be ignorant of worldly matters and of anything of substance. You will find major problems trying to find ONE student that is getting ready to finish school that can clearly tell you what liberties and rights they are guaranteed in their Bill of Rights and how they would apply in real world scenarios. The police in towns generally bully and profile people and have complete disregard for human dignity and rights (i have seen it many times), things are so different from Holland. It is very sad to me because if you read the documents that founded the USA you will find a much different mindset from what happens there today on a daily basis.

I could go on and on and on about this but i will not, because it will do no good to do that here. But it is important for people that dislike Americans to understand the circumstances that have created their current “world image”. Suffice to say that many people (certainly not all) in the USA tend to be easily manipulated by politicians into racist, homophobic, islamophobic, anti-immigrant, and social stratification positions due to one thing: LACK OF A DECENT AND QUALITY FREE EDUCATION.

    @jdizzle1337

But you did not reveal which country has the more powerful military, the US or Holland?

There are two ways to survive in the world. Create the largest social welfare society on the planet and hope others will defend you, like Holland…or create the most powerful military on the planet and defend the pussy countries in return for favorable trade deals with them.

There is a reason gas costs more in Europe than it does in the US.

We may not all agree with the decisions of our government, but elections showed who the American people thought would be a more suitable leader, and now wought to have faith in both our decision and those of our leaders.

    To foreigners reading this:
I about had enough of you all. We’re not all idiots. We are obviously the richest, most powerful (politically and millitarily), most successful country for a reason. Can anyone else tell me of another country where people are dying (sometimes literally) to get in? Exactly.

    @B2theMFeto

Just to set the records right

The richest country is Luxenbourg (Europe)
followed Equatorial Guinea and the United Arab Emirates.

USA can be found at number 6. It is based on GDP – per capita. (source http://www.aneki.com/richest.html)

If you look at the countries with the Highest Gross National Income per Capita, then you find Norway at top and USA on the 3th.

    (source http://www.aneki.com/income_countries.html)

most powerful (politically and millitarily) !?!

If it is, why something like 9/11 could happended.

And last but not least, what to you mean with most successful country?

You will find many places in this world where people from underprivileged countries trying to get to privileged countries at any cost. BTW underprivileged countries compared with ‘most powerful (politically and millitarily)’ and ‘most successful country’ (maybe somebody had to pay for it and now they just want to have a share out of it)

So you just proved jdizzle point with him saying that:

‘Suffice to say that many people (certainly not all) in the USA tend to be easily manipulated by politicians … ‘

B2theMFeto there is nothing to be against loving your country. But becareful mixing it up with the people ruling it. They have their own agenda and it might be not always for the good for all of the people in it. Try to look at it more critically, because that what the founders did before they turn the english colonies into the United States. And look around you: freedom people gainded in the past are not always for granted. You have to watch out because they could esily be taken from you (or have been taken already)

Soon it won’t be the only super power, then you will get what’s coming to you. The fall of the roman empire ring a bell? How about the demise of the British empire? It all ends eventually

Its really sad when you folks start going down the path of hating each other over a Hollywood film.

Films aren’t supposed to be real. (nor highly accurate). They’re just telling a story. How you interpret that story is really up to you. (Whether it be entertainment for 110 minutes, or some propaganda nonsense, etc).

You don’t have to like the movie, its your choice to accept it or not. But to start attacking each other racially and politically is just pointless. Instead of flaming each other, why don’t you all take a step back and look at yourselves. Just think about why you’re hating or getting worked up to begin with. Do you understand the pointlessness of what you’re doing?

    To BitLover:
First off, thank you for at least leaving a civilized answer with a link to support your information. Now, look at that same link, and see the statistics for which country has the most university students, most nobel prize winners, and came in second for the most educated. It was the United States. Now, look at some of the comments above left by my own fellow American people, and tell me if you think everything you read is true.
Also, that was pretty clever for you to put the stats of the richest country per capita. Of coarse Luxemburg is number 1 and the US is number 6. Luxemburg is the size of my two bedroom apartment, with only 480,222 of a population (source http://www.aneki.com/Luxembourg.html) America on the other hand has a whopping 301,139,947 population! Hmmmmmm, is it all starting to make sense now? In fact all 5 of the richer countries, per capita, are only a fraction of our poulation.
As far as being manipulated by our political figures, well there’s no question that there are some people like “Elections?” who are easily manipulated by people like Michael Moore, from watching “Fahrenheit 911″ one too many times. I attend a university where im actually majoring in political science, and I’ll be the first to admitt how easily one can be manuipulated by their own political figure. Believe it or not some of us Americans do our own research before deciding to follow and trust someone.
I would be a liar if I said I agreed with everything George Bush has done, but I will say once again that I trust my leader’s decisions, although at times I may not agree or understand them.
Good day friend, and may the good Lord protect and defend all the world’s soldiers out there, risking their lives to defend the freedoms we so easliy take for granted :)
