The Jane Austen Book Club LiMiTED FS DVDSCR XviD-ALLiANCE
A popular limited drama The Jane Austen Book Club is now available in the new dvd screener release from group. Although the quality isn’t bad (property of warnings), this release was instantly nuked and ALLiANCE messed up really hard this time: they forgot to remove the serial on the image, which can possibly lead to the source aka the specific person who provided this screener for the group. Other major glitch is audio out of sync in many scenes, so we should probably wait for some proper and pray for this guy who leaked it.
Robin Swicord’s adaptation of the novel The Jane Austen Book Club concerns a group of women and a man who meet regularly to discuss the works of the popular author, but soon discover their lives are playing out much like one of the author’s fictional worlds. Among the members of the club are Sylvia (Amy Brenneman), a recent divorcee; Bernadette (Kathy Baker) who has decided to accept her advancing age; and Prudie (Emily Blunt) who feels guilty about her persistent fantasies of cheating on her loving husband.

Ok so I see this is already nuked and I watched it anyway but wtf is all the distortion about during the high volume parts of the movie?

08:17 After the car crashes into the oil tanker, the explosion just sounds like white noise!
17:03 to 17:52 I can hear no dialogue over the machine gun at all.
35:49 to 38:57 I enjoy girl on girl love action as much as the next man but this scene though very steamy was truely spoilt by the “background” noise from the club, I also love drum and bass but not at the cost of a good sex scene.
At this point I quit watching, I will wait for a proper.
I was watching on winamp on my laptop, anyone els have this problem?

Anywayz, it is possible that winamp’s pre-amp is causing the distortion, for any number of reasons. Some other player that does no DSP to the signal before passing it to directsound or audio kernel (you didn’t say if it was xp or vista), would probably reproduce the audio just fine. But there IS a glitch in the encoding, after which the whole thing goes noticeably OOS.
Well I just watched the movie and I didnt have any sound problems at all. I think your watching a wrong movie or something, cause so far I didnt come across any machine gun XD.
