The Invisible R1 DVDRip XviD READNFO-XanaX

I have not seen this movie yet but i thought it looked good. The quality is nice a retail r1 rip which is expected to be good quality. So if you like ghosts or a good drama try it out you might like it. Also you might remember that this movie has already been released a couple of weeks ago by group FLAiTE and that is what the READNFO tag is for. XanaX go into a rather long winded speech about why their release is better in terms of quality. Really all it comes down to is that this is a Region 1 rip while the previous FLAiTE rip was Region 4 rip which XanaX claim is lower in quality. The nukers don’t agree and have nuked this release as being a dupe: [nuked: dupe.FLAiTE.2007-09-17]. To most of us the scene rules doesn’t really matter (in this case at least) as both rips will do. Download and enjoy!

Plot: The spirit of a semi-dead boy makes good in this WB-network-flavored tale, which is an adaptation of the young-adult novel by Swedish author Mats Wahl. A privileged and not very well-liked senior in his Seattle high school, brooding poet Nick (Justin Chatwin) winds up fingered for ratting out tough girl Annie (Margarita Levieva) to the cops for a jewelry heist. Soon his spirit is running loose trying to connect with the people around him, but only animals seem to notice; everyone else just goes about their business. Meanwhile, his body is lying concealed in a sewer tunnel and Annie is the only one “invisible” enough to understand his pain.

There’s a little blood here and there but overall this little TWILIGHT ZONE-ish tale is perfectly fine for the whole family, with some moral lessons about responsibility and the importance of emotional honesty. There’s enough damp Seattle mood to keep one watching, and Levieva brings a wealth of charisma and charm to her street-urchin role. Lots of great mopey alterna-rock on the soundtrack from the likes of Death Cab for Cutie, TV On the Radio, and Broken Social Scene keep the teen angst ratcheted to a sufficiently operatic high throughout.

http://spellbound.sourceforge.net/index may be of use to you if you use FireFox 2+. If not just write in Word and then copy/paste the text.

I’m suggesting this in the same was as you might offer gum to a person with bad breath. You don’t want to be directly cruel, but you know as long as they don’t start chewing it there going to get picked on.

Other than the minor imperfections your posts are fine.

i saw the ts of this a while back and no matter what kind of a/v quality it may have, the movie simply isn’t good. plot is weak, acting is subpar, and the overall theme isn’t tight at all. not recommended. when this first came out, they advertised it as being on par with ‘the sixth sense.’ not even remotely close!

Brad, your posts are excellent !!! Who gives a krap if there are a few mistakes… This movie is really sick, i highly reccomend it !!! by the way b3, i know you’re just trying to help and you were very nice with your suggestions… but i thought it was funny that you had more grammatical errors than brad… you wrote the following … “I’m suggesting this in the same was as you might offer gum to a person with bad breath. You don’t want to be directly cruel, but you know as long as they don’t start chewing it there going to get picked on” it should be “same way” not “same was” and it should be “they’re” not “there” but who cares… right???

This movie sucked. It tried to be somewhat depressing and sad and all that but it failed. BiG TiME.

I hate it when they make these movies about some teenagers who “have it soooooooo hard”, when no teenager ever has. Then they fill up the movie with some wannabe-depressive alt.rock. But hey, that’s america (the teenagers have it sooooooo hard). I laugh at this type of crap. There are like three dozens of these movies already.

Only good thing about the movie was the APC song played in a scene.

That was a good write-up. I take it that part was not written by Brad because he said he didn’t see the film. But if that was written by Brad, you did a good job man. I thought that was very descriptive and literary. Looks professional.

I don’t know how you can say a film looks good when you have not seen it, especially when it’s called The Invisible.

Where is the movie? i cant see it, thus the name “the invisible”…

Stevie Wonder once replied when asked what it was like to be blind that it would be worse to be born black. This thread is like the blind leading the blind.

@9 Sure, but nobody really cares how the spelling is in one post. It doesn’t really matter. The original post however probably should have perfect grammar and spelling as that is the post everybody will read.
