The Invisible 2007 DC DVDRip XviD-NQR

An average mysterious thriller The Invisible was rereleased in Director’s Cut dvdrip by a relatively new group NQR. The first, standard dvdrip appeared already in September 2007 by FLAiTE, so I think most of the interested people have already seen it. There’s no notice about the special footage or possible alternative ending in this release, and it’s even shorter than the first one, so I’ll leave that open for your comments.

From the producers of “The Sixth Sense” and the co-writer of “Batman Begins” comes THE INVISIBLE, a chilling supernatural thriller about a teenager who finds himself trapped between two worlds – invisible to the living and all too close to the dead. A high school senior with a bright future, Nick Powell (JUSTIN CHATWIN) is suddenly attacked on a dark night, his shattered body left for dead. Now, caught in a haunting limbo where he can observe the world of the living but they can’t see him, his only chance at a future is to figure out the mystery of what happened to him and why before time runs out. But how do you solve a murder when the victim is you?

As Nick attempts to uncover the ominous truth behind his ghostly condition, the trail leads from his mother (Academy Award winner MARCIA GAY HARDEN) to his best friend (CHRIS MARQUETTE) to a shady criminal (ALEX O’LAUGHLIN) to the tough, troubled girl (MARGARITA LEVIEVA) who Nick comes to realize may hold the key to his awakening from the unexplainable.

    Go watch the original Swedish film. It wasn’t lame or cliched when it came out…..and it has a darker and better ending.

    I haven’t watched this remake but if it’s anything like the original I don’t see how it can be lame and cliche. Perhaps you should take #2’s advice.

    @4 bello
    Dave is referring to the original Swedish film not this one.
    Read and comprehend his comment carefully.

    Comparable to “Awake” w/ Jessica Alba but a superior film

    Just like ‘Die Hard’, if you put your mind in the drawer and dont think about logic, then you could enjoy this movie. It is slightly diffent from ‘Die Hard’, this movie probably has a lesson or two about real life.

    Is it just me, or does anyone else think @5 is an idiot an should take his/her own advice. @4’s comment made perfect sense to me, but that may be because my head isn’t up my own a$$.

    Anyway, it’s a decent teenage thriller/drama. I finally got around to watching the FLAiTE copy this past weekend. Really good soundtrack. Maybe they tried a bit too hard to be symbolic and deep (sorry for the metaphor).

    Any Canadians out there seen “jPod” on CBC yet? I don’t know if the series has started yet, but I think this actor is in the leading role.

    I saw this movie. It was mediocre, nothing special. The characters actions are very illogical and even nonsensical. This is one of those leave your brain at the door movies or else you’ll be very frustrated.
