Really nice CAM released today by CAMERA group. Video have amazing quality, almost like a TS (even better than some of them), but audio is quiet and tiny as usual for this type of release. Movie plot looks interesting, but personally i don’t like Nicole Kidman as main actor, also there is our “new Mr. B(l)ond” Daniel Craig. All in all, nice quality of release, so (probably) it wont hurt to see it…

sounds like the third! remake of “invasion of the body snatchers”…the `78 remake of the `56 original with Donald Sutherland and Spock is a good movie though !!

the traditional meaning to telesync. Doesn’t refer to the video, it only refers to the audio being direct feed, which could have been recorded anyways directly (for example, audio disabled head phone jack)

What’s tiny audio (small and stunted) or tinny (metallic sounding)
saw this in the theater. the end credits say it is actually based on ‘invasion of the body snatchers.’ not a bad movie at all but not worth the price of admission. the director is trying to drive home the message of human unity above all else. fwiw, you get to see kidman’s nips full on which was a nice surprise.
well looks like it could be good , i loved the 1978 version to hope this lives up to it if not more ! ooh an i wonder if they will track this guy/girl down like they did the Simpson guy that got found out an arrested lol

A terrific first camwork, which is sad, because the movie itself is terrible. This is the 3. remake of Don Siegels masterpiece from 1956. Stick with the latter.

The First one was in 1956, Then 1978. And then again in 1993 simply titled Body Snatchers.
Video and audio looks pretty good in the sample so I’ll give this a go:)
TS is filmed with a mounted professional camera with the cameras microfone audio, TC is the same but the sound is direct feed. Get your facts right before posting…

@26: Telecine machines are very expensive so not alot of people have them and you need access to the movie reels themselves so you need to pretty much work in a cinema and be the last guy in and out.

I just watched this and it is watchable. The sound is kinda like a cheap AM radio, but bearable. The are about 5 or 6 spots where the camera gets covered up, some are just 5 – 10 seconds, others a little longer. The ending is there, so don’t worry. Here’s my rating, for what its worth.
Overall:
Video – 6
Audio – 4
Complete Movie: 9.5
Ending – Yes
Recommend? – For those that are in a hurry, this works.
Camera gets covererd for more than 5 – 10 seconds try 4 times each lasting more than
150 seconds. at one cover up in a pretty serious part it gets covered for 200 seconds that is nearly 4 minutes.
video – 4/10 (because cover ups in key moments)
audio -8/10
Movie 4.5/10 you have to be a fan of nicole kidman
very watchable cam, good acting but very uninspiring movie unless irony was intended by portraying the aliens as Americans actually are? So viewed as a documentary, quite interesting if you’re a sociology student – was that the director’s point coz the plot was tired or missing all together…

You get to see Kidman’s Nipples poking through her shirt a couple of times, but she is getting old. Knew there had to be something wrong when there was 2 directors on the same movie.
Lots of great actors doesn’t make a good movie.
You should watch Abel Ferrera’s remake, it is cheesy and fun
