How do you download from Adrive using a download manager? I use Flashget and can’t get it to pick up the download. It will only download using the windows download roll, which of course doesn’t have resume.

ok this is one of the most ridiculous nukes ever!
I opened the movie in media player classic, and goldwave and both of them say it is in STEREO not mono.
I also saw this was nuked on vcdquality for CBR audio but like half of all avi movies have CBR audio and they don’t get nuked on vcdquality for it.
The movie is in STEREO and who really cares if it has CBR audio?
virtualdub can handle movies with cbr
nandub can handle movies with vbr
movies with either cbr or vbr play fine on computers or standalone divx players so what is the problem?

You programs will say ’stereo’ as yes, there is are two streams marked left and right, but the in fact both streams are made up from a mono source, which you can only detect by comparing waveforms.

hibby a 6.0/10 on imdb IS solid. The highest rated movie ever on imdb has a 9.1/10 and the lowest rated movie on imdb has 1.1/10. A 6.0 is not great but it is far from bad.

I saw and heard the video inbetween a pair of stereo speakers, and I do experience some spatial perception of the video’s audio – at least some of time, most remarkebly when the train arrives at the station (around 45min 08sec).
At the same time I see the frequency spectrum of the left and right channels overlapped in a spectrum analyzer application, and I observe a distinct shifting difference in frequency and amplitude between the two channels.
At least for this part I am sure of having a stereo signal in that movie.

btw: “dual mono” does not mean you have the same signal on two tracks. I CAN mean that, only it normally doesn’t. Normally dual mono has two different channels – left and right channels that is.
