A young boy falls in love with a girl that is way above his social standards along with the art of magic. Although the parents forbid them of seeing each other they cannot be split apart. Until one day they were found together and the boy was sent off. He became a magician and traveled the world. She fell in love with another man, the Crown Prince. The two got engaged but the boy, Eisenheim, finally meets back up with the girl and uses his powers to free her from the royal house in Vienna.

I didnt really care for the Prestige…I predicted the ending the first Transported Man! Too easy. This one, however, was a bit harder to predict. Very good movie, highly recommend! However, it isnt one of those “awesome” movies in HD…Recommend just the DVDRip…

I liked this one better than the prestige to,but they were both alright.It seems like similiar movies are always released in pairs like one studio trying to trump another or beat them to the box office in order to take any hype away from the other release.
wth u ppl mean i prefer dvdrip are ya nutts? hd is always better to watch any movie…
of couse it is, but its not likr LOTR or transformers for example… amazing in HD

this for some reason has never been released in the US… try a Amazon.com or BestBuy.com search for this… YOU WONT FIND IT! I got it last week looks amazing in HD this movie has some really neat cinematography that looks amazing in HD def staying in my collection… enjoy

Yeah, like post #1 said, it’s available in the US. Saw it myself, about 1-2 weeks before the release date because my sister works at blockbuster
yeah good film this is seen it awhile ago, has for the National treasure film going by dates on totaldvd site does say 17th so could be anyday now.
Ahh yes, this is a great movie.
to #1 and #23 you did not see this movie in HD! Blockbuster does not have it nor does Netflix.com! for some reason this bluray disc is ONLY available in Italy!
Again, my condolences to the family of Scit. I found out about his death right before I went to sleep last night. I said a prayer for his family in their time of bereavement. I would have found it appropriate if you shut the site down for 24 hours in his memory, but like the all-star staff that Releaselog has, you guys are moving on in a difficult time. The plot sounds like intonement, except for the magic.
Sounds cool anyways. One my family members went to see intonement, said it really was a horrible movie.

The prestige was good too, but it’s really a matter of preference as to which one was better.
Help! I’ve transfered the MKV file to VOB to play in my PS3. I’m using Nero 7 to burn the vob file to dvd… but Nero is saying the file is too large to fit on a standard DVD 5. It says the disc capacity is short by just a couple of MB. I end up using a DL Disc…. Which is a total waste of space. Can someone educate me please. Thanks so much.
