The Iceman Cometh 1989 DVDRip XviD-iLS

71c8.jpgThis morning I saw that “The Iceman Cometh” also known as “Ji dong ji xia” was released by iLS. This release was released in June 2007 but just came on the public trackers. A sweet old DVDRiP for the people who like Martial Arts movies. Two very known actors who have played in many movies next to Jackie Chan are Biao Yuen and Maggie Cheung. This release includes English and Dutch subtitles. Enjoy!

In 16th Century China, Ming guard Fong Sau-Ching (Yuen Biao) relentlessly tracks the ruthless villain Fung San (martial arts legend Yuen Wah). After Fung San steals the priceless and magical Black Jade Buddha, a titanic martial arts encounter atop a cliff ensues and is only ended when the two men tumble into a glacier where they are instantly frozen.

Mistakenly thawed out four hundred years later, Fong Sau-Chin must continue his pursuit of his quarry although to survive in 1980s Kowloon with the confounding discovery of electricity, TV and toilets, he’s going to need a little help from femme fatale Polla (Maggie Cheung)!

Also known by the alternative title ‘Time Warriors’, this is, possibly, Yuen Biao’s finest hour without the other members of the ‘3 Brothers’ triumvirate. With action sequences co-choreographed by Yuen Biao himself with none other than Yuen Wah and Kar Lok Chin, it’s a frantic, frenetic action comedy!

    the plot sounds similar to Sylvester Stallone and Wesley Snipes’ Demolition Man;

    but this film was made in 1989 and Demolition Man in 1993, I have to think the latter copied this film

    I opened the file in VLC and it says unknown format for subtitles. i have them in the same folder I tried renaming so all were titled the same but still I kept getting an error. I don’t want to hardcode them but just watch them on the pc. Any help appreciated as google only gave me links to download the subs not how to play them
