The Holiday R5 LINE PROPER XViD-PUKKA

Earlier today group EXiST released a R5 version of “The Holiday“. It was nuked and now group PUKKA brings the movie back in good condition. Enjoy this nice comedy with Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, Jack Black and Kate Winslet. Thanks to the guys who informed us fast and did not download the nuked version.

R5 is the release type lying somewhere between TC and DVDSCR and Line means it has synced audio from another source, because the original one wasn’t english

where is this syncfix? if this is proper, why do we need one?

  9. January 14th, 2007 | 23:29

i think this fix is just some crap, the release wasn’t nuked at any place and looks pretty fine…

D, for you then you were the only guy that “got some” that night. Been waiting for this movie and I’ll download it. I like light comedy with a screwball twist to it.

Thank Mike for getting this “non nuked” one for us.

Mike what does it mean when your name comes up in RED? If I can, can I get my to show up in royal purple and can I start to use the royal “we” when we speak or write?

Nikki what you need is Virtualdub. Probably the best freeware program there is.(For video editing anyway).
    Get it here http://www.virtualdub.org/
You will find all the answers to your questions in the forum. Hope this helps

So… group Exist released two or three days ago a fucked up release of this movie. And like that isn’t enough… here comes PUKKA with another fucked up release….But hold on, this has a fix witch doesn’t work unless you have I don’t know what king o codecs. It seems like even the application who should have fixed the sync problem doesn’t know what codecs are requierd exactly… Good job fucking Pukka, keep releasing just so you look like you’re in business..

Mike thanks and Nikki you can try Nero with the full version. It will take different formats and recode it to DVD format (either PAL or NCTS) so there will be one file only.

OMG … another release with decent video but fucked up audio!

I just can’t comprehend why one would watch a movie in such a quality… What you hear is as much important (or even more) as what you see! It’s just a waste of internet traffic and our time to check the sample exactly the same as 2CD releases with MP3 2 channel sound :-/

It’s of course everyones choice ;-)

    In response to Mike:

ConvertXtoDvd is the absolute best software out there for movie conversion to DVD. You can take nearly any file, divx, xvid, mpg, mov
and turn it into a DVD, the extra it gives you is it can build a menu for you automatically or you can add in your own background image and change the font styling. Another added bonus is you can do two movies per DVD. Roughly 4.5 hours of footage, sometimes a little more, I just finished burning 24 Season 5, with 6 episodes per DVD, I find thats incredible. Number one feature of this program is the time it takes. I can convert + burn a DVD with two movies in usually just 1 hour! Most other programs it will take almost as long as the movies if not longer. Get ConvertXtoDVD if you want to make your lives easier.

    its fast and good
i also add 2 movies in one dvd-rw
i see the movies on the tv screen using my philips dvd player
and then i erase the dvd-rw
in my sony trinitron tv i get great results
and looks like an original dvd :D

Found this looking to find out what R5 is, y’all have answered my question so maybe I can answer yours:

As powerful as VirtualDub is and as easy to use as Nero is, if you’re wanting to join files for dual CD releases, this program is perfect:

    http://www.brizsoft.com/avijoin/

No recompression, no reduction in quality. Only catch is both files need to have the same frame size, frame rate and codec, but with releases that’s always the case.

    Happy joining :)
