Collegiate couple Grace Andrews (Sophia Bush) and Jim Halsey (Zachary Knighton) hit the road in a 1970 Oldsmobile 442, en route to spring break , but their pleasure trip soon turns into a waking nightmare after encountering the mysterious hitchhiker John Ryder, a.k.a. The Hitcher (Sean Bean). The initial encounters with Ryder are increasingly off-putting for Grace and Jim, and they bravely fight back when he ambushes them. But they are truly blindsided when he implicates them in a horrific slaying and continues to shadow them. The open road becomes a battleground of blood and metal as, in trying to elude not only Ryder but also New Mexico State Police Lieutenant Esteridge’s (Neal McDonough) officers, Grace and Jim must fight for their lives and face their fears head-on.

Sean Bean does a decent bad guy in his previous movies, but he’ll never match Rutger Hauer.
Therefore I won’t be watching this as I’m guaranteed to moan like a shitty bitch about it.
Months of debate on whether allowing aXXo torrents would tarnish the reputation of the ’scene’..and we end up with a load of unwatchable TeleSyncs..what’s the f*cking point?!!..

They are all DVD rips a few weeks from retail release… or recoded DVD9 rips released on the scene…… axxo is for idiots with old TV sets.Latest axxo releases has even been at 800-900 mb, why do they do that? If it has to be bigger than 1 cd, why not make it 2 or even do 2-3GB since it has to be on a DVD for standalone players anyway. Most people have broadband….
And axxo has no clue about pixel ratio…. but if you insist on watching your movies on an old pc screen at 60fp, or an old B&O tv…. I guess it will do.
TS is what you get until there is an original screener or dvd release… It has to be digital source to recode it to be perfect.. cams are always inferior.

LOL lets get something straight, allowing Axxo torrents on NTi has NO IMPACT ON THE SCENE! P2P and torrents specifically are NOT respected by the scene and they hate us all.
The only thing in debate would be if allowing non scene releases (axxo) on NTi would tarnish THEIR standing as a 0sec scene only site. As it stands NTi can never again claim to be a scene only site.

axxo releases are perfectly good in my book, every release I’ve gotten from axxo has had a good ratio and good quality. Sure, I may not be insane about releases and I just want to see the movies, but if I was that intense about such things I would just as soon buy the DVD. And yes, the scene hates all of us. Try reading some nfo files sometime where they go out of their way to talk shit to any of us. All that matters here is the file and its quality, not the release group, not how perfect the filesize is.
Oh, and this movie is at least watching for Sophia Bush.
axxos realeses on newtorrents only gets newtorrent to waste more bandweight than before get rid of the axxo releases so we can enjoy proper scene movies instead of that reencoded axxoshit!
some movies dont deserve more than 700mb so keep the releases cause that way we got the choice 700MB or other release !.3gb ac3 . PS there are some people that thing they are kings in the chair SHAME ON YOU
i agree with ben , axxos releases r good, lol if your that bothered with bandwidth stop wasting peoples time with pointless posts. your going on about a FREE release if u want a perfect copy buy the DVD.
Olson..I’m not pushing aXXo releases..and I’m not arguing that they’re original. The point I’m making is this..what exactly is this site about?..being the first with a release?..or the quality? At least we know by downloading an aXXo release that it’ll be pretty decent quality..and watchable!..what’s the point in posting links to useless, unwatchable CAMS, Telecines/syncs, badly encoded shit with sync problems and f*ck knows what else?!!..I’ve been scouring the site recently for decent torrents to download!..and lol..’enjoy proper scene movies’??..do you really enjoy downloading this stuff, then repeatedly finding out it’s been nuked and you’ve wasted your time?..
It’s really a shame that movies like this are made because they just make people scared of picking up hitchhikers.

Everybody has a great point.. cams suck screeners are the shit but i would not download a dvdrip, i want everything on the dvd not just the movie so thats what blockbuster is for. Ts are ok sometimes, but i like finding movies that nobody has seen or heard of… and i never watch a movie on my computer now thats crazy always covert to dvd.

THIS site is about posting up news about the SCENE, meaning ANY DAMN SCENE RELEASE SHOULD BE LISTED HERE. Axxo is not part of the “scene” hence the only Axxo post is about people BITCHING about axxo.
The facts are this, even the shittiest scene releases follow scene standards that axxo doesn’t have to, but Axxo is besides the point.
You are coming to a scene release NEWS site (note all torrents are from NTi not rlslog) and reports, or tries to report, on all scene releases. It’s not up to the editors to determine a release is shit and not report it. Even if it is SHIT they still have to report it. That’s the whole purpose of the site, the fact that they are NICE enuff to provide links to the torrents for the releases at newtorrents is an added bonus.
So maybe I should tell you how to use this site. Come here and read whatever articles interest you, do not read every article on the site and bitch about ones you don’t like saying they shouldn’t be posted, that will make alot of us happy.
Next, in the case of movie releases, you come to the article to READ IT and see if the release is worth downloading, going by the posters word or the samples linked.
Simple as that, I really don’t see what your problem is. Liken it to a news cast. You are asking them to cut out most of the news and only report what you want to hear.

I think you’ve made it clear what the site is about, phishy, and you’ve got a fair argument..it serves it’s purpose very well..but at the risk of being creatively insulted, would it be presumptuous of me to suggest that most people come here to download torrents?
