The History Channel Lost Book Of Nostradamus WS PDTV XviD-FTP

I would like to present two nice History Channel Documentaries for the populous to look into watching. These two shows were given by reliable documentary/less popular show release group FTP. However, further into the first documentary I feel that it deserved a separate post. Nostradamus is an accepted prophet by many, who had predicted the future with astonishing accuracy. Even sceptics are intrigued by the enigmatic poetry of his predictions. And now, lying quietly in a library in Rome, a manuscript with his name on it, has been discovered. It is a codecs containing bizarre imagery and many prophecies which are now revealed for the first time, on television. It’s a ‘big’ budget documentary for once.

Lost Book of Nostradamus: An investigation into the 400-year-old Prophecy of the Roman Popes, unearthed at the end of last century and thought by some to be the lost book of philosopher Nostradamus.

I know some of you dont know me and I post very little as possible but when I read crap like this I get ticked off. for over 20 years I have grown up with the Nostradamus Prophecies. I first ran Nostradamus prophecies at school here in the United States. I was going to a public government school at the time. They made all the students watch this and it always made me wonder why. Seriously people we cant even pray or show our true religion here yet alone they forced us to watch this crap. So now 20 years later I read and watched this crap again and all the predictions are different or deciphered different. When something new happens they take his prediction and say he predicted it. Seriously people please be carefull what you watch and what the government feeds you because this is a tool to control the masses and get permission from our government officials to wage war on countries that don’t even want to go to war.(hint….IRAQ)

Well thanks for reading and I hope I was able to open some peoples eyes.

Nostradamus didn’t predict anything with accuracy. He predicted everything with extreme vagueness. No matter what happened after his death, some quatrain or other would fit it because he wrote so damned many and because they are so general.

As they say, predict war and disease and you’ll always be right.

Whoa, don’t get me wrong. I’m the first person to stand up and say that believing Michel de Nostredame was some sort of prophet or that any of his alleged predictions came to pass is total BS. However, if I remember correctly, it wasn’t this man’s predictions which lead us to war in Iraq as you insinuate. Seems to me that it was the Christian god who was used when Bush Jr. claimed ‘God’ had told him to invade Iraq.

Guys if you really want specific accurate predictions on the coming of doomsday, then in islam there are quotes from the prophet Muhamed PBUH that are called ‘the signs of the day of judgement(doomsday)’. It doesnt not say the time a sign will happen just that it will happen, and that doomsday wont happen until all these signs occur. These quotes were all made around 600AD. For example, one sign is that’future buildings will touch the sky’ this refers to skyscrapers which is a modern day phenomena. search for more in the internets.

Says the ignorant poster. Seemingly forgetting that Students and the public ARE allowed to use school property for religious meetings and such before and right after school.

This was brought by students who were expelled from school for three days for doing the shocking thing of reading a bible silently to themselves at Lunch or in study hall. For students who were placed in detention for the simple act of talking about a movie to a friend that they saw the night before that had religious overtones. or the banning of STUDENT led prayers at graduation or fooball games (one school even shut off the mike of the class Valivick during her speech) Do a simple google search noob, and you will see hundreds of pages of items like this even though the USSC said it was ok.

Not to mention that I have a $1000. for you noob, if you will show me WHERE in the US Constitution that it says you cannot have religious classes in Schools or the exact wording of “Seperation of Church and State”. See According to Articles 1-3 of the US Constitution, the ONLY way to make a law is for it to be brought before the Congress and have it voted on and then sent to the President for his/her signing. It clearly says that the courts cannot and do not have the authority to make a law from the bench. This was done in that idiotic decision as it does not appear anywhere else before or afteror presently, in the Constitution.

You need to go back to school and this time stay awake when they teach government.

Television documentaries are probably the second least-trustworthy source of information, right after online journalism. They rely on only a couple of scholars, and since they’re looking for a scholar who’s able to devote a lot of time to them they’re usually getting people on the edges of the scholarly community who are invested in pushing some agenda. And because the documentary is run by film-makers rather than actual scholars the editing room tends to turn the scholars’ message into something other than what it actually is.

There were definitely some very accurate things that these people said. But the things that they didn’t say, coupled with the context in which they said the things that they did say, render the show useless to you.

AND @50, may be you are right in some documentaries the facts are obliterated but applying that too all of em will be a sweeping generalization. the ones made by nat geo are stunningly accurate.ive even cross checked with the internet too.for example a doc about the worlds tallest hotel involves the chief engineer and the design teams comments, those are not just some other ppl looking for limelight by making a documentary. ok I dont believe in predictions and anyone that writes that they predicted all things that happen and came true is a lie. Now if one says they invision a world with flying mechanical birds and then they would be called Michaelangelo lol. Common people prediction is power and power is prediction. If you get enough people to hear you say that “in a city center of the busiest part of the world is going to explode” then you go out to that building in secret and hook it up with explosives and then bang your an instant soothsayer.

Common people your better than this and you should know better than anyone else. I really dont care what you think but when the end comes it is those that know the real truth that will survive and the rest is going to be idiots and watch it all happen before their eyes. which one will you be.

While I absolutely not belive in any of this, the “documentary” was quite interesting.

Lol @ the guy around 29:50 saying “9/11 is the most important event in world history” right…

There are lots of much more important events and places than 9/11. For example the invention of the wheel, the knowledge to start a fire, creation of the greek “democratic” (not so much democratict in todays meaning but non the less) society, the start of cristianity (birth of jesus, if you belive in that) and so on.
