I caught a great fairly new band in concert last month on tour w/ CLUTCH [who need no introduction]:
Maylene and the Sons of Disaster.
Although the name may not impress listen to the tunes and you will be harkened back to the good ole days of swampy southern metal.

Just listened to the whole album and… IT’S AMAZING! Really great Metal music. I really like “spheres of madness”, great riffs!

awesome post — thanks for this — on a forum i regularly visit, they did a contest where people could enter their own mixtapes — we should do something like this on here, or on the rlslog forums for metal mixtapes

What do you think about one metal compilation where bands sing in their native language. I cant find one decent metal band singing for example in spanish or italian. And i really could use another german singing band besides the obvious one
