There is a CAM movie release from CAMERA tonight, which is “The Haunting In Connecticut”. This horror thriller film was based on the allegedly true story of the Snedeker family’s encounter with the paranormal in Southington, Connecticut. No need to watch the movie, I already like the poster, but I will wait for at least DVDRip to give it a look. BTW, the movie ranked second last weekend in Box Office.

PLOT: Based on a true story, The Haunting in Connecticut charts one family’s real-life encounter with the dark forces of the supernatural. When the Campbell family moves to upstate Connecticut, they soon learn that their charming Victorian home has a disturbing history: not only was the house a transformed funeral parlor where inconceivable acts occurred, but the owner’s clairvoyant son Jonah served as a demonic messenger, providing a gateway for spiritual entities to crossover. Now unspeakable terror awaits when Jonah, the boy who communicated with the dead, returns to unleash horror on the innocent and unsuspecting family.

    Bad picture and worse sound. Wait for a better release. I saw the movie at a screening a while back and it's not bad at all. Not The Shining scary, but not bad. Well worth the look IF the quality was better.

    Actually the "Haunting" series in Discovery is way better than this and many other so called horror movies as it does a realistic reconstruction of documented ocurrences that really sends a chill down your spine! The best movie based on real facts I´ve seen in the last decade is by far "The Exorcism of Emily Rose".
