this is completely ridiculous..

the only reason ANYONE would want to watch this movie *including myself* – is to see the “shocking” grotesque scenes that they show and DONT CUT AWAY FROM

this release is blasphemy in the highest, totally defeating the point of watching the movie, and i am now a lesser individual for wasting my bandwidth on it.

Quality rubbish 3/10 ,(Bald Comments! Great quality, see the samples and enjoy the movie!).I think they must need glasses. Total waste of time downloading and then encoding. Better to wait for an R5 or better still a dvdrip

lol, i predicted 5-6 imdb rating before this movie was released, i was right! I havent seen it but i know its its not great.

M knight movies generally follow the same pattern. He makes movies he thinks are 7-8-9 ratings only to come up with 5-6. Why? His vision of a great movie isnt shared by the moviegoers in general.

Sixth Sense was good, Signs was OK, Unbreakable was OK, Lady in the Water and the Village were lifeless. This is by far the worst piece of pretentious rubbish Shyamalan has come out with so far.

If you want to lose 2 hours of your life that you will never get back..then watch this

I saw Happening in the cinema (Czech Republic) and… why is this version cutted out? I think that The Happening is first Shyamalan R-rated movie and almost every scene from R-Rated trailer is cut out or highly shortened (needle in the neck, building-workers, beasts in zoo, cutting the wrist…).

And yeah, I think it´s a good movie. Shyamalan´s worst, but still pretty interesting – I like how he mix B-movie aestethics with art get-there.

The video source of this release is the censored German theatrical version.

According to M. Night Shymalan himself, in an interview with FOCUS magazine, the following bloody parts are missing *SPOILER* :

- the woman in the opening scene sticking her hairpin into her neck, a lot of blood sputtering out of the wound
- a lion bites a man’s arm off
- a man is overrun and thus hacked into pieces by a lawnmower

There may be even more cuts, these are just the scenes Shymalan mentions in the interview.

I actually have to give this film “some” credit.
At the start of the movie, it really does seem good, and the storyline seems good too, but after about 30mins, it dulls out, and theres no need of watching it, it gets extremely boring, and I can honestly say, from 30mins-1hours, there is no need to watch, just skip forward.
