Vairox Free Image HostHere comes the third CAM release of The Happening within the last three days. I don’t want to be writing too much about this movie, as it already has been the previous two times (so the plot is gonna be copy-pasted). The quality? Check it out for yourself. Not a dupe, as this release has got other subs than the nDn release. Me? I prefer waiting for a more watchable/audible release, DVD perhaps? Enjoy.

    This movie had so much potential… but it ended up sucking pretty horribly. The whole theater was laughing throughout the whole thing. Don’t waste your time.

    M. Shamalamadingdong is a hack, nothing more. Everything he’s done since the sixth sense is basically the same, all his movies have mild suspense, then a “twist” ending that is usually just stupid. his movies remind me of all the crappy made-for-tv stephen king movies as they have the same thing, long boring stories followed by lame “surprise” endings.

    yup not much of a movie critic cause i like them all EXCEPT this was really really bad/boring.
    VERY dissapointed….not worth watching even for free…

    @14 exactly its a love/hate movie… and i dont get how ppl determine a good movie by ppl laughing in the theater… you were probably watching it w/ juveniles… its a good movie only real thing i had a problem w/ was the end… there was so much more to the movie than toxins from plants killing ppl…

    You either get his films or you don’t. To come out and call the guy a hack is a little dumb IMHO. If you’re not in to his style of storytelling why bother watching the film? Just so you can come on to forums and trash him. Different strokes for different folks.

    I agree with @23. He has a certain method of storytelling that’s uncommon in this age of flash and trash. If you don’t like it stay away and don’t bother commenting about what you don’t know.Maybe this film is crap maybe not, but his films are structured very ambitiously and they always try something different from the Hollywood norm. They don’t always succeed but they are always memorable.
