The Happening is a scfi-drama genre type movie. Directed 6 written by M. Night Shyamalan. This release is brought to you by nDn group. I was not pleased with this movie it was not what I expected to be but it’s still worth watching. On RT they wrote: ”The Happening begins with promise, but unfortunately descends into an incoherent and unconvincing trifle.” IMDb score for this movie is pretty high. They got 6,3/10 witch is more than enough for this movie.

PLOT: It begins with no clear warning. It seems to come out of nowhere. In a matter of minutes, episodes of strange, chilling deaths that defy reason and boggle the mind in their shocking destructiveness, erupt in major American cities. What is causing this sudden, total breakdown of human behavior? Is it some kind of new terrorist attack, an experiment gone wrong, a diabolical toxic weapon, an out-of-control virus? Is it being transmitted by air, by water . . . how? For Philadelphia high school science teacher Elliot Moore what matters most is finding a way to escape the mysterious and deadly phenomenon. Though he and his wife Alma are in the midst of a marital crisis, they hit the road, first by train, then by car, with Elliot’s math teacher friend Julian and his 8 year-old daughter Jess, heading for the Pennsylvania farmlands where they hope they’ll be out of reach of the grisly, ever-growing attacks. Yet it soon becomes clear that no one – and nowhere – is safe. This terrifying, invisible killer cannot be outrun. It is only when Elliot begins to discover the true nature of what is lurking out there – and just what has unleashed this force that threatens the future of humanity — that he discovers a sliver of hope that his fragile family might be able to escape what is happening.

    I’ve never been more serious when I say. This was the worst movie I’ve ever seen. The acting was absolutely horrible, I thought they were all purposely trying to be bad, and it came out that way.

    The story was lame, the background behind it was lame, and no twist ending was a sad absence to end a incredibly horrible movie.

    I can’t believe I paid for another Shyamalan movie. I should’ve learned after the Village.

    I love Mark Wahlberg, his work on Entourage has made it one of the best TV series of all time in my opinion. However, his acting was crap in this movie.

    Night hasn’t made a good movie since probably 6th Sense/Unbreakable. Now his movies are Unbearable.

    As a fan of Shayalaman and Wahlberg I have to say that this film was awful. And I paid to see it too.

    Download and enjoy but remember you can never get those 2 hours back!

    Who did (s)he blow to become an editor on this site? I would have thought a firm grasp of the English language would be the #1 requirement. Guess not.

    Oh and like others have already mentioned, don’t waste your time watching this movie. It’s total rubbish.

    Oh cmon’ it’s a typical Shyamalan flick. In all his movies there is an underlying theme of the human condition and reactions of the characters as something is introduced into plot.
    It did get abit out of hand in the second half of the movie, don’t want to spoil anything though.
    Wahlberg’s performance was amazing to see him play a very different character to what he usually plays and he pulls it off flawlessly.
    If you think everything I just wrote was utter crap. You can’t argue, Shyamalan oozes with originality.

    I have never felt a need to post on here until today. I spent my money to see this crap. I came out of the movie saying I GOT ROBBED. I wanted to go to the local police and report M. Night.
    Without going into details no real plot or plot twist and and very very very bad ending. Also a stupid name of movie. I dont blame the actors too much this one has M. Night written all over it. By the way I have a very open mind when it commes to movies and M. Night couldnt pay me to waste my money ever again on his movies.

    I second thatguy [18] about Nikola’s knowledge in the English language.

    It’s surprisingly annoying to read badly written English. Feels like being a teacher in languages when reading Nikolas posts.

    I have, however, taken a liking in his/her rather positive (jolly?) attitude.

    Isn’t there anyone among rlslog’s 250k+ users who’d like to take over Nikola’s position as an editor?

    I saw this crap in cinema yesterday. De facto worst Shyamalan’s movie. It is not funny, not scary, and not anything else. I hope this doesn’t hurt Marks carrier. Movie ruined my evening. It is just not feasible that this is the same guy who directed: The Six Sense, Unbreakable, The Signs, and The village. Lady in the water was bad but this sh1t is unbearable. Except Mark all other actors sucked, idea sucks, script and dialog sucks, camera work sucked, and editing sucked big time. Watching this movie I felt like this is some STV B $50,000 production.

    I love all of his movies. I thought this was trash. The production company totally changed this movie to make it horror genre. Bad move. Changed the music, the title, the direction, the money. Bad move. I will not count this as an M. Night movie.

    I’m actually from Bosnia and Nikola is a neighbour.
    I’m happy to see some people from that region aswell, even if their English isn’t that good.

    I saw the film yesterday.
    This is a very disappointing movie. Unbelievable storyline, some rather poor acting, some ridiculous effects and intentionally hilarious lines. The start was good, then it went downhill rapidly. Viewers in the cinema could tell what the cause was after 15 minutes, which left us bored and waiting for any bit of a surprise, and of course, the end! We spent more time laughing than being frightened. This film tries to replicate Signs (which I thought was ok), and fails.
    Don’t get me wrong, the premise was ok, but the film could have been a lot better.

    I have to agree with you. I took off work to see these two movies and the Hulk was much much more entertaining. Better acting too, definitely not a dumb action cgi movie, William Hurt, Tim Roth & Edward Norton are all STAGE ACTORS PEOPLE. This isnt Ben Affleck & Matt Damon here lol.

    Night is so up himself. A few good reviews of ‘Sixth Sense’ were enough to convince him that he is some kind of god-like genius who should have the right to make movies. Studio bosses: STOP GIVING HIM MONEY!!!!!!!!

    Using incorrect and sloppy English on a website written in English for people who obviously speak English is not okay simply because it’s not your native tongue.

    Hell, why don’t we get some Spanish or German authors who have had only a few English lessons to release their new books in English. It’s not their native tongue so give them a break if every sentence is unreadable.

Please can someone comment on how the audio and quality of this cam is. This is supposed to be a friendly site where people give positive comments and not slag off other members of editors.     Utter rubbish, Sham-alama-ding-dong screws us yet again. If you read theis Shamalang, do us all a favour a develop 30 min episodes for a Twilight Zone TV Show, where we can change the channel when we realise you are a two movie failure and a waster of film.

    After the Village I swore never to watch another movie by him, and I convinced myself maybe he did a good movie, this movie is the worst film I have seen in the last, actually, the worst movie I have seen since the Village.

    What a crock of garbage….

    video is not that good , subbed but watchable , audio is good but at 41 minutes into movie the audio goes out of sinc and stays out for rest of movie . and this is what most really want to know – the movie quality and is it worth the download. i say forget this copy and wait for a better copy.

    I just saw this movie and I have to say it would appear M Night’s movies continue to get worst after every release, and this film proves to be no exception. The acting by Walberg and his wife are terrible, Walberg cannot play the type of character he is called upon to do, and his female co-star was better as a ditsy chick from an episode of “Weeds” cause she doesnt come off convincing here either. After seeing Signs, Unbreakable, and The 6th Sense, the rest of his movies are utter garbage. The first hint was Walberg’s casting and no major actors taking part within this movie. It just doesnt live up to his previous earlier work. Disappointing indeed.

    What the heck is wrong with you people? Did you actually watch this? What the hell?

    This is not bad, not bad at all actually and a hell of a lot better than Lady or The Village.

    The only problem of this movie is that NOTHING REALLY HAPPENS! Other than that it’s an above average supernatural-doomsday-environmental thriller (damn, that’s long). This is not a movie for stupid people, you’ve been warned!

    Saw it at theatre this night. Man, even it’s a typical shyamalan movie, it really had some hardcore scenes. I enjoyed watching it, and had a good time. Dont expect to gain the meaning of life from a movie, because it’s ENTERTAINMENT! anybody saying “this movie is crap” should go and get a life. If you didnt like it, find something else, get over with it. Nobody pushed you to watch this. Man that is sooo lame.
