Saphire brings us another fine release. Comedy genre movie directed by Charles Herman-Wurmfeld & written by Kevin Hench(Screenwriter), Adam Carolla(Story). Adam Carolla in this movie shows us how sport can be funny & painful if you are not good at. :-) He has written the story for The Hammer and acted in it to. Very good movie that you have to watch. IMDb score for this movie is better than average (7,8/10) .

PLOT: (HAS SPOILERS) Jerry Ferro’s 40th birthday has brought his life into sharp relief and it’s not a pretty picture. A once-promising amateur boxer—who quit so he wouldn’t risk his perfect record of under achievement—Jerry has been knocking around from one construction job to another and spinning his wheels… Jerry Ferro’s 40th birthday has brought his life into sharp relief and it’s not a pretty picture. His last connection to the fight game is the evening boxing class he teaches to middle-aged, middle class, middle management types at a gym in Pasadena, where he also works as a handyman. When venerable boxing coach Eddie Bell asks Jerry if he’d like to spar a couple of rounds with Malice Blake, an up-and-coming pro, Jerry reluctantly steps into the ring. Despite the ass-kicking Jerry otherwise receives, a one-punch knockdown of Blake convinces Jerry that it’s time to make his return to competitive boxing. Thus ends a 20-year layoff and begins a hilarious fish-out-water quest for Olympic gold.

    This looks like it might be fun. I’ve actually not really been a big fan of Adam’s work outside of radio but I’ve loved him as the host of Love line for all those years and I’ve only caught his new morning show once on a trip but I liked that as well. Go Adam!

    I am a fan of Adams, but even I had reservations until hearing all of the great reviews. 74% on RT and 2 thumbs up on Ebert and Roeper is outstanding. Can’t wait to give it a shot.

    If you love adam carolla you will love this move. If you don’t know adam carolla you will love this movie, then love him afterwords.

    I actually looked forward to and paid to see it in the theatre, something I commonly don’t do. Even though it is a bit predictable, it is a great movie.

    i usually prefer torrents myself, but lately Flyupload is doing pretty well speed wise.

    I do agree that all that rapidshare / 8 files rar’d and having to join them together BS is weak…

    I’m hoping Tito will come along shortly with a flyupload link for this one, since the torrent IS SO FKN SLOW and this movie looks SO FKN COOL

    @58 y do u prefer torrents? wot kinda sped u get on torrents? from free filefactory use i get always ova 1mb/s up to 5/6 mb/s. torrents are full of fakely named files and viruses and are now being tracked to your ip by msaa or woteva they r called. also there is no ‘joining’ files together they automaticlly extract from al the other parts once u drag n drop the file from ne part.no hassle at all. i get all my films within 15mins of starting 2 d/l.
    @48 no this isnt a torrent site…..othawise it wud b called torent rlslog. rlslog is ‘release log’ as in they post new scene releases.
