Group TBG released an internal cam of popular fantasy movie The Golden Compass yesterday. I decided to not inform about it at first, because it’s internal and not well-spreaded release, but the quality of this rip made me to write few lines about it. Based on author Philip Pullman’s bestselling and award-winning novel, The Golden Compass tells the first story in Pullman’s His Dark Materials trilogy. The Golden Compass is an exciting fantasy adventure, set in an alternative world where people’s souls manifest themselves as animals, talking bears fight wars, and Gyptians and witches co-exist. At the center of the story is Lyra (played by newcomer Dakota Blue Richards), a 12-year-old girl who starts out trying to rescue a friend who’s been kidnapped by a mysterious organization known as the Gobblers – and winds up on an epic quest to save not only her world, but ours as well.

INTERNAL -
An internal release is done for several reasons. Classic DVD groups do a lot of .INTERNAL. releases, as they wont be dupe’d on it. Also lower quality theater rips are done INTERNAL so not to lower the reputation of the group, or due to the amount of rips done already. An INTERNAL release is available as normal on the groups affiliate sites, but they can’t be traded to other sites without request from the site ops. Some INTERNAL releases still trickle down to IRC/Newsgroups, it usually depends on the title and the popularity. Earlier in the year people referred to Centropy going “internal”. This meant the group were only releasing the movies to their members and site ops. This is in a different context to the usual definition.

One of the best cam i’ve ever seen, despite the obvious crop in the bottom. I don’t knwo how they managed to got so beautiful colors, but i’m much interested…

I have just came home from cinema watching The Holden Compass, was pretty good actually. If u like Narina, then this will be very nice for you.
On the other hand, the bear wasnt THAT BIG as shown in the picture.

Cam: Fairly good.
Movie itself: Travesty (at least, if you’ve read the books)
It’s a shame given what Chris Weitz wanted to produce was so destroyed by New Line
If the had stuck to the book’s storyline they would’ve been better off. And if they had had an actual ending it would’ve been even better, but they went for a happy ending. It was a good movie, but I feel like there was more of an anti-religion theme than the actual book. I was also expecting a lot more, but it wasn’t bad as you guys make it seem.
