Chaps from LRC bring us a very nice release for Friday’s evening: a dvdscreener of The Golden Compass. Although this movie didn’t meet its expectations, it’s still a nice family flick to watch and this screener means a great progress in quality since the last telesync. The quality is perfect with no visible watermarks and crystal clear AC3 stereo (CBR though).

Based on author Philip Pullman’s bestselling and award-winning novel, The Golden Compass tells the first story in Pullman’s His Dark Materials trilogy. The Golden Compass is an exciting fantasy adventure, set in an alternative world where people’s souls manifest themselves as animals, talking bears fight wars, and Gyptians and witches co-exist. At the center of the story is Lyra (played by newcomer Dakota Blue Richards), a 12-year-old girl who starts out trying to rescue a friend who’s been kidnapped by a mysterious organization known as the Gobblers - and winds up on an epic quest to save not only her world, but ours as well.

    Sweet release. Nice quality being on 2 CDs as this movie deserves, but I’ll wait for the DVDr for even better quality. What a week, great movie releases, Jesse James, Sweeney Tood, Hitman, Elizabeth the Golden Age, We Own the Night. Now, there’s just one more I’m waiting for that will complete this awesome week, and that is the DVDscreener of There Will Be Blood.

    will not download it as my brother forced me when it released to download the cam print as he was eager to see it .

    well it was dispointing they tried to create the lord of the rings hype but failed to do so .

    and making story open for sequeal . in the end movie was just average would have been box office bomb if nicole kidman and daniel craig would have not worked .

    Great release, great release week. Best week for releases in awhile. Bee Movie, Sweeney Todd, We Own the Night, Gone Baby Gone, Golden Compass, Assassination of Jesse James.

    But yeah, There Will Be Blood is easily my most anticipated release. that and The Darjeeling (DVD rls date 2/26) Limited and the Mist (DVD rls date 3/25).

    a little sugestion for future : if you can for netload to make independent rar arhive (for example 1 netoad = 4 rapidshare ) so when you download 1 netload you could extract 4 files

    also for filefactory 1 independent file = 2 rapidshare.

    so a 15 part rar movie….5*300 MB netload = 15*100 rapidshare = 8*200 Filefactory.

    Lets all remember, we’re surfing here at RLSLog and not at surfbee or any other ‘competitor’ because we want the trusted torrents (no fakes ever from here - thanks rls staff), and quick links fast and FIRST. If RLSLog doesn’t stay up-to-speed then people will go elsewhere = no visitors, no comments/links by posters and no advertising revenue or kudos.

    Now if Senistar had posted a fake torrent or link, then I’d be the first to bludgeon with a small plastic hammer, but luckily I haven’t had that experience here yet.

    “Off-Topic” - Holy smokes i got a rapidshare account last night and i have to say it is worth the money it only takes 8-10 minutes to download a 2cd dvdrip probably could go faster but i am limiting my download speed so that i’m not hoarding all my schools dual-t1 bandwidth… so far i’ve got like 12 new movies to watch and a few new warez and isoz!!!
