SiNNERS is pretty active lately, that’s for sure. And now they released a nother 720p BluRay Rip of a movie named “The French Connection” back to 1971. The film tells the story of two New York City policemen who are trying to intercept a heroin shipment coming in from France. It is based on the actual, infamous “French Connection” trafficking scheme.

PLOT: William Friedkin’s gritty police drama portrays two tough New York City cops trying to intercept a huge heroin shipment coming from France. An interesting contrast is established between ‘Popeye’ Doyle, a short-tempered alcoholic bigot who is nevertheless a hard-working and dedicated police officer, and his nemesis Alain Charnier, a suave and urbane gentleman who is nevertheless a criminal and one of the largest drug suppliers of pure heroin to North America. During the surveillance and eventual bust, Friedkin provides one of the most gripping and memorable car chase sequences ever filmed.

    I download all the Bluray I can find of my favorite films. It's great to be able to browse an entire library of high def material from my couch through my flatscreen and my media pc.

    Yea BluRay is great especially for such movies like this one: classic. Plus it's old so, high definition + excellent old gangster movie = GREAT.
