Well, not a big surprise that another VoMiT release came out today, although this one is a DVDRip as opposed to the previous DVD Screeners. I’ll keep this one relatively short. Check out director and actors on the IMDB page. Hope you enjoy it. I’m off to watch “Johnny Cash live in Denmark”. Hell yeah.
Quality: You know exactly what kinda quality we’re talking about here. The only reason I’ll say what I’m about to say is to keep some sort of consistency in all my posts: Usual DVDRip quality. 901kb/s video bitrate and 123kb/s VBR mp3.
Four high school football stars enlist in the Marines to serve their country in Iraq. Unfortunately, they don’t all return home. The ones that do survive face guilt, problems assimilating back into every day life, and a society that doesn’t seem to support them. They face the pressure and the temptation to rejoin their fellow Marines on the battlefield as they struggle to blend into civilian life. This is a story about American heroes, their courage, their pain, their humanity.

Anyway, the war isn’t being mentioned in the news because both the mainstream media and your average news viewer suffer from a thing called Attention Deficit Disorder. Unfortunately for the rest of us, there is currently no vaccine or cure for ADD. The only known methods of prevention are based on avoiding exposure to the infected part of the population or, failing that, moving the hell away into Switzerland.
Anyway, one pretty much has to be a masochist to watch a TV movie with IMDB’s User Rating “none: awaiting 5 votes”.

Don’t skip this movie based on just one person’s opinion. Keep in mind that one person may very well be one of the above pro-war debaters and might not have actually seen the movie. People lie. It’s the norm.
This certainly isn’t the best movie I’ve seen, but I wouldn’t call it bad. It shows the soldiers’ pain and suffering. Some may consider that anti-war, but most modern war movies do the same thing(Saving Private Ryan…etc.). I wouldn’t call this “anti-war propaganda” as it do not attempt to portray soldiers as monsters. This is largely in line with current American views on the war.

The reason the ceasefire is working is they’re paying-off both sides to stop fighting. You knows those Billions and Billions that are going to fund the Iraq war? Well some of it is going into the hands of those warlords who are sending suicide bombers into market places and killing hundreds of people. So does that mean they’re funding terrorism? I can’t see how else you can explain that. When the US decides to stop paying them off you’ll see how well the extra 22,000 troops are doing. US politics and lies are just plain disgusting. If you talk to a republican they’re winning the Iraqi war. They’ll bring up stats like “We’re down to 5 suicide bombers per month compared to 30 before the surge”.
The bad taste of Vietnam didn’t happen overnight. There were lies from politicians in that war too.

PBS Frontline’s Haditha episode has been out on torrent for about a month and you can watch it online in good quality flash.
