The Fountain DVDRip XviD-DoNE

I think there’s really no need to write something more about The Fountain - if you’re a regular visitor of RLSLOG, you could notice 3 releases of this movie lately: nice dvdscr (with annoying black & white cuts and property warnings), R5 rip from Russian source and then propered R5 with fixed audio. I will only repeat myself when I write you should really watch this movie, as it offers a really interesting story as well as amazing graphic and effects. The soundtrack is also very good if you like the music. Quality guaranteed.

The Fountain is an odyssey about one man’s thousand-year struggle to save the woman he loves. His epic journey begins in 16th century Spain, where conquistador Tomas Creo (Hugh Jackman) commences his search for the Tree of Life, the legendary entity believed to grant eternal life to those who drink of its sap. As modern-day scientist Tommy Creo, he desperately struggles to find a cure for the cancer that is killing his beloved wife Isabel (Rachel Weisz). Traveling through deep space as a 26th-century astronaut, Tom begins to grasp the mysteries of life that have consumed him for more than a century.

didnt think i would like it after reading about it but watched it anyway and although it confused the hell outa me and im still left puzzled i did get into it and quite enjoyed it, made a nice change from the usual hollywoood cheese that gets released week after week and gives you something to think about.

Hard to recommend this movie to others. I LOVED it but I can’t say everyone will. My girlfriend at the time we went to see it, hated it (probably a good sign we weren’t meant for each other.) I’ll definitely pick this one up. Thanks.

This is one of those love it or hate it flicks. I personally love it, it’s challenging and you really have to pay attention as there is quite a lot of symbolism. Perfect kind of flick for repeated viewing at home.

If you’ve got at least half a brain, you should find it a rewarding, if not strange, experience.

The movie suck, for somebody with good taste and a little knowledge.
It is a bad taste mixture of ancient simbolistics mostly budhism, maya, some christianity. All this doped with some booring and way to long special shity effects.
Tons of simbols from any ancient cutures like the tree, ring sord, etc. Read Gilbert Durand guys,it might help you to judge a film and some other stuff. It would be helpfull for the director too, this one and some other.
Anyway a perfect movie for a hare krishna adept.

Like previous posts say its a love it or hate it movie. I watched it all the way through. Took me two efforts since I always try to watch movies after work but by then am too tired. Definetly a thinkers movie and if you are more into symbolism than linear plot then try it out and form your own opinion. I would not watch again. It has parts that keep you on the edge of your seat because you can see it going somewhere great and then the lights turn off and it chooses another path. I think I am just pissed off that it was not as predictable as I wanted it to be. mo

This movie is really different to the usual popcorn flicks Hollywood keep mass producing. The Effects we’re brilliant and the story was engrossing but I was a little lost half the time and I’m not entirely clear what actually happened, but I enjoyed it. One for the philosophers.

“Hate it or love it” - well, 1st time I saw it in the cinema and at the end nobody moved or told anything for a damn minute.. It’s magical in somekind of way, but not everyone are capable 2 feel it’s “spell”. Anyway - talking about this movie makes no sense, you need to see it 2 know what i mean by that.

Ps. Sry for my eng, its not my national lang and - how sad for me - i’m not perfect in using it.

This is the movie to watch, Brotha. Listen to the Hulkster when he says, “this is a Great American Movie.” Nick and I usually like working out or rassling each other, but Brook has the family get together every week for movie night. And this movie made the Hogans shed major tears. I’ve never cried this much since I whoop the bejesus out of The Ultimate Warrior. Amy true Hulkamanic will love this movie as well. Just thought Id give this movie some promotion, seeing as its getting some bad reps from the communists on this wonderful board.

Hi, recently i have encountered a big problem trying to download torrents. (I use utorrent). It says that i have no incoming connections and it says my port isnt open so i get zero downloading speed. This is the 1st time this has ever happened as i have downloaded a fair share of movies in the past. I also can’t use limewire etc but i can use other programs like aim, internet explorer, and other things just non downloading 1’s.

uhm…any advice please? Ive run virus scans and all that stuff and it says im clean. How do i open this port?

Very touching movie, didn’t care for the conquistadore bit, but the present and future scenes were fantastic, the tatoo motif was very well done and links the present and future in a very touching way…all those millennia of life and still loving her.
