The Ferryman 2007 DVDRip XviD-BeStDivX
Not exactly an awesome movie, but at least a little original - that’s a new horror called The Ferryman, which is now available in the 1 CD dvdrip released by group BestDivX. Filmed by British / New Zealandian crew, Ferryman tals the story of group of young people who rented a boat for a trip to Fiji. Well, you don’t have to be wisdom to guess something went wrong on the sea, so you can expect a whole bunch of scary wet scenes.
A group of young tourists charter a boat in the South Pacific Ocean for the holiday of a lifetime. They stumble upon an evil that demands vengeance at any cost. In the middle of the ocean and with no help coming, they discover that… PAYMENT IS DUE. Out on a dead calm ocean, in a thick fog, a group of tourists on a pleasure craft are about to cross paths with an ancient and terrible evil. Sharing the same ocean, a sick, dying old Greek man drifts alone on a stricken yacht.

You know it really pisses me off when people pirate films that have little chance of even getting their small budget back.
Come on… go see this in the cinemas. They don’t get a lot of money from these small films.

m : sure I´ll go see it in the cinemas, if you pay.
Otherwise I´ll just dl it as always =)
The opposite happened with that movie called ‘Once’; never showed up on the net, had pretty good reviews and was seen in few theaters.

– I agree. I think I’ll go see it now…. Oh, wait, it isn’t showing anywhere near me. So until the dvd comes out… “click”.
Sounds like a great movie! Thanks!
New Zealandian?

The description says :
“Out on a dead calm ocean, in a thick fog, a group of tourists on a pleasure craft are about to cross paths with an ancient and terrible evil. Sharing the same ocean, a sick, dying old Greek man drifts alone on a stricken yacht.”
An old , sick and dying old Greek man doesn’t sound very menacing nor evil to me hahaha.
TPB track is down. Argh.

I’ll buy the DVD if it’s as good as it’s been touted at film festivals. Consider the download as potentially positive advertising for these smaller films. The good word of mouth spreads faster and makes it more financially successful in the long run, but only IF it’s a good film. P2P weeds out all the shit and sinks it faster if it sucks.
why are you here geek?
Yeh Pirating small films like this only gives the makers more exposure than it would normally get - a film like this wont play at the movies everywhere, or maybe anywhere, wont get a well advertised release and little print media or even the net - and probably a lackluster dvd thats no one ever picks up.
Consider this then viral marketing…if its good maybe we`ll buy it or pass on the good word..
Its the writing tho that really sells this…
…They stumble upon an evil that demands vengeance at any cost. In the middle of the ocean and with no help coming, they discover that… PAYMENT IS DUE…
Genuis…lol
Well you’re right in the sense that it does give it more exposure, but this is not really going to help get very good distribution in the US.
Well i’ll be going to the NZ premiere anyway.
Yeah right, good exposure to people who download everything for free, that’ll boost their sales…
I dowload thus I steal. I’m not a hypocrite, I admit it. Almost everybody that downloads this stuff WON’T buy it at a later point. Stop being a pussy and making excuses like “I have to try before I buy” and “It’s actually helping the artists”. By downloading you are stealing, and saying you will buy it later on doesn’t make it right. Me, I don’t care.
” Almost everybody that downloads this stuff WON’T buy it at a later point. ”
Most of those people would not have bought it if P2P didn’t exist. This way that percentage that didn’t want to shell out the bucks on an unknown product can sample it first.I can only speak for that group but I can say that Torrent has introduced me to many good artists and films that I wouldn’t otherwise have taken a chance on with my dollars. And saved me from spending them on A LOT of shit. It’s the shit that people won’t buy at ANY point myself included. Not everyone who downloads stuff does it for everything or all of a sudden decides not to support the artist of the film or music they love or have loved for years up until this point, that’s bullshit. I’d rather have a DVD Audio disc of a great album than a low quality MP3. But yeah, I’ll steal that MP3 version if it’s new, or all I have access to at the time,or if it’s an unknown band. Maybe I’ll support them later by going to the concert when they tour. Delete it if they suck.
looks lame. they couldn’t pay me to watch this shit.
Although AHA was able to obtain little information on this Polish film, reports state that thirty sheep were burned alive during production.
