Before those major TV shows come out tonight, we first take a look at our old friend DiAMOND’s major movie release. This time they bring us a 2008 British film “The Duchess”, which is based on Amanda Foreman’s best-selling biography of the scandalous. 7.2 rating on IMDB is surely worth a try. PLOT: A chronicle of the life of 18th century aristocrat Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire, who was reviled for her extravagant political and personal lives. She is a vibrant beauty and celebrity of her time. But she is trapped in an unhappy triangle with her husband and his live-in mistress. She falls passionately in love with an ambitious young politician, and the affair causes a bitter conflict with her husband and threatens to erupt into a scandal.

    @30: Because they take up less space, can be formatted at the user’s will, edited for dialectal differences and work with more players than .sub/.idx combination.

    @22: VobSub has a tool that’ll allow you to re-build sub-images as text through OCR. I think that it’s called SubRe-sync., or something (I don’t have it installed right now).
