The Doors 1991 720p BluRay x264-SiNNERS
Despite this being a week-old release, I personally believe that it deserves some attention. A lot of you, including myself, weren’t around when this band had their finer years on the stag, but to some of you this might bring a bit of nostalgia to the heart. In any case, two thumbs up to SiNNERS for pre’ing this. 3/4 DVD9 size and runtime of ~144 minutes allow for wonderful video bitrate and, more importanly, some rockin’ DTS audio. This is really music to our ears…
Plot: Oliver Stone’s homage to 60’s rock group The Doors also doubles as a biography of the group’s late singer, the “Electric Poet” Jim Morrison. The movie follows Morrison from his days as a film student in Los Angeles to his death in Paris in 1971, at the age of 27. The movies features a tour- de-force performance by Val Kilmer, who not only looks like Jim Morrison’s long-lost twin brother, but also sounds so much like him that he did much of his own singing. It has been written that even the surviving Doors had trouble distinguishing Kilmer’s vocals from Morrison’s originals.

Yes, all this movie needed was some Jungle Beat rapping hip-hop. Something like rape the hos, kill the cops, slap yo mother and kill yo brother cause we is bada$$ rappers.
This is a great Movie! wow! Val Kilmer does a GREAT job in this movie! two thumbs up!

I never really got into the Doors music, but this is still a great movie! Val Kilmer did such a good job, it’s almost creepy!
Really good movie. Saw it posted on a different site last week, but couldn’t find links to 720P version so just got the 1.65GB (2CD - one file) version. I’m splitting this file into rars and upping to Rapidshare if anyone would want the movie and don’t need it in 720P.
