First of all, if you’re looking forward to this film and you’re spoiler sensitive, just look away right now, even though there are no major spoilers below.

Yesterday the BluRay of Batman Begins was released. On it, the first six minutes of the upcoming sequel The Dark Knight was released. This film comes out in cinemas on July 18th in the USA, so this is pretty much completely exclusive material. Ripped by Waldo, who is one of my moderators on the RLSLOG Forums, but also the ex-owner (but still completely runs) plube.com . Download link is below some additional snaps. The stream could get removed any time, so don’t rely on that.

    They also showed this in front of I Am Legend if you went to IMAX to see it. It is pretty awesome, a tasty treat of what’s to come.

    this is the same clip that ran with i am legend on imax screens in december. so it might not be new to everyone, still it’s an awesome intro scene for the joker.

    I saw this in imax i went to see i am legend just for this.Man oh man the wait has been KILLING me for this to come out i have my tix to imax for the midnight show and for the same day to take the wife later that day.Off topic if you guys haven’t seen the animated prologue batman Gotham knight check it out it pretty good IMO but,then again i a huge comic geek LOL!

    To the peeps saying this spoils the movie; How can seeing the first six minutes of a movie spoil the movie? The only thing sucky about it is that you have to wait to see the rest of it

    well… for u guys who still confuse about batman movie
    lets just take it as a remake/ a reset/ not a continuation from the 90’s batman

    just like what they done to “the incredible hulk”
    reset with new plot, new beginning (da… BATMAN BEGINS anyone?)

    so, its still consider the 1st part of batman movie
    the late ledger’s characters ‘JOCKER’ are really jaw breaking even rumors has it to win oscars, n has to be the best job he’d ever done in his film industry..

    My friend tried showing me the CAM version of the prologue about 4 months ago in his phone and I avoided it.

    Ummm, I agree with the fact that there was no need for you to be called an idiot, but he is right, Batman Begins is the first movie. The others you mentioned have nothing to do with Batman Begins, and The Dark Knight. Kind of like the new Hulk movie has nothing to do with the first Hulk movie. So in this case, it is the first movie of this set, and I think that’s what he was referring to, not the first Batman movie, but the first one in this set.

    And by the way, I would rather see the first 6 minutes of every movie over the trailers. The trailers are what contain the worst spoilers. If anyone remembers “The Bucket List” trailer you’ll know what I mean. But honestly, just about every trailer spoils it for you. The first six minutes isn’t a spoiler really. Just kind of gets you anxious to see the movie. I see no way in how seeing the first six minutes will be a spoiler. Now, if it was six minutes in the middle of the movie, of course it’d be a spoiler, but straight from the beginning it’s fine. And who doesn’t already know what the joker looks like if that’s what you’re concerned about? If you’ve seen a talk show, a preview, or a news article around when Ledger died, you saw what the joker looked like. So not a spoiler. Not even close to being as bad as a trailer.

    I totally agree about trailers revealing more of the movie’s entire plot-line than a harmless 6 minutes of the beginning.

    I just saw the clip, and those 6 minutes were like 60 seconds. There is nothing in it that would ruin it for you. It was just an introduction to how much Joker can be of a badass for the rest of the movie.

    Tight Video. So far nice camera work. Though the clip is set during the day, there is still a dark tone to it – no bright colours. Feel was also good. And the music is just so good. Overall – Nolan-Heath-Bale has given it.

    I really like Batman movies, but based on what I’ve seen, this one is not going to do well in the box office. Not that special. “The Dark Night” sory line/graphic novel on the other hand was awsome IMO. But this screen adaptation is rather lacklustre. :(

    i already was skeptical bout the movie since it’s a comic book movie, regardless of the acclaim the first part got. after seeing this, i’m 100% not paying to see this! the first part was okay but it had its comic-booky moments with the scarecrow and probs with bruce wayne characterization and dialogue. the dialogue alone from these 6 minutes is all comic-booky. i’ll pass!
