We normally don’t post 1080p rips but i think this deserves a exception. DoNE released the two disk XVID edition and iNFAMOUS released their 720p (read for proper updates). These were released quiet early, official date is early next month. Anyway for the poeple who want to watch this better, and bigger. Here it is. The highest 1080p rip of one of the best movies this year.

This film was definitely not worth the huge hype; I found it quite boring. If heath hadn’t died, it would’ve been rated far lower, like it should be.

The movie made about a billion dollars and it will make even more when it is out on dvd. Probably the best movie of this year that I can think of, anyone know of a better movie, please do tell.
Almost one billion dollars in revenue worldwide and an almost obscene amount of positive reviews by fans and critics make the Dark Knight a great movie. Regardless of what some Internet malcontent thinks. The reality agreed upon by the many crushes the misguided opinion of the oh so very few.

Because the rslog editors are all poor and cant afford to get nice monitors or rapidshare accounts to download the movie. Probably takes them a while on torrents

ok so we now have every possible vrip of this movie out, from a 700mb axxo rip to the 11gb 1080 rip, yet still no NTSC dvdr. What am i missing?

From what I gather the best version out is Sinner’s 1080p. The problem is that most of these links are dead and megashares is goin dumb slow. Nothin to do but just wait really I guess. I’m sure there will be a ton more of these as the bluray isn’t supposed to be out until December 5th but who knows. I just wanna see 1080p Dark Knight. So anyone with a link or rapidshares I’m lookin for it! let me know

Of course not every movie will be to everyones taste, but just because a few people say it’s a bad movie doesn’t make it so. I’m not that big a fan of Shakespeare, but millions love his work.

Please give me a movie that in your opinion is better than this movie that is similar to it. You can’t compare pulp fiction to the dark knight. That’s like saying toy story is better than fight club. I agree this movie did make more money because ledger died but it doesn’t mean this movie is not good. Please say what movie you think is better so you can be judged accordingly. You’ve already judged everyone that likes dark knight by saying that they have no standard for good movies.
proper 1080p sure is taking its time.. Anyone know how much there are those overcropped scenes in the movie? Only the bank robbery beginning?
For all you people loving 1080p just for your info if you are watching through a pc then you are not getting anywhere near 1080p quality.
If you don’t believe me then go look around. Now as far as these mobos with HDMI output i do not know their performance.
But on a standard video card with dvi-vga or dvi-HDMI you are not getting the full picture quality.

This one is overcropped, so what is the point of downloading it? Sure its a bit better then the 720p, but sinners 720p is not over cropped and I rather have less quality pic to have a film fully shown…

I think most of us waiting for the 1080p proper know what we’re doing. I for one am on my PC (laptop), which has 1920×1200 resolution and HDMI output, and would like to take advantage of it.
Even for those who may have lower resolution PCs, it doesn’t hurt getting the 1080p, as it could later be burned and watched elsewhere in full resolution.

Those of you who are bashing guys downloading this on a tower pc or laptop, please open the door to your closed minds. The majority of the guys here wanting 1080p movies are doing 1 of 2 things.
1. Burning the 1080p rip to a disc and playing it on a big LCD/Plasma HDTV.
2. Being lazy and skipping the burning to disc step, buying a $25 dvi-hdmi cable and connecting it to a LCD/Plasma HDTV and the video card on the PC. They are buying HDD’s for all their HD movie storage and probably doing it alphabetically similar to the way you would save and store mp3’s.
The result? A downloading frenzy and pissing off ISP’s by sucking up all the bandwidth, because it is the fastest way to view and store your HD collection and save room space to boot.
Please try to have less brain farts when you are posting. I know you are excited about releases but come on.

You do know that the difference betweem 1080i and 1080p is, right?
And that 1080i isn’t the best quality, especially for a high-action movie.
Or Sending it on there ps3 (using red kawa) and playing it on a lcd

@49 – This is not an overcropped version. You can’t say it’s overcropped if it has a 1920×800 resolution. It doesn’t have to be 1920×1080. The whole movie has been shot by an IMAX camera and IMAX cameras has wider angles than usual HD cameras. An also if you have a look at the 720P version you can easily see that it has a resolution of 1280×528. They have the same ratios. So this release is not nuked, don’t worry…

Actually, it is nuked.
The whole movie wasn’t shot in IMAX, only about 21 mins or so is. Hence, the Blu-Ray has variable aspect ratio. Imax parts have 1.78 to 1 ar, rest has 2.4 to 1 ar. However, this rls has the whole movie in 2.4 to 1, and as such, the IMAX parts are cut.
Hence, this is nuked.

Hi guys i just wanna ask what do you use to download movies this size? I used to download torrents but they were far too slow so i got a rapidshare account and now the limit is 2.66GBs a day which means i would have to wait 4 days to get this amazing post!im thinkin of jsut gettin it on blueray as soon as it comes out as i cannot find a 700mb or 1.39Gb post thats working anywhere…Any advice appreciated.
