The Cottage DVD SCREENER XViD-PUKKA

PUKKA who have been inactive in the last while are back with a SCREENER of UK film The Cottage . I first heard about this movie when I saw Jennifer Ellison on Soccer AM a while back and the movie seemed quite interesting. It’s kind of like Shaun of the Dead in the sense that it’s a comedy/horror film. If you’re into UK films or just want to see the beautiful Jennifer Ellison, download and enjoy :) .

Quality: Standard DVD Screener quality coming in at 1CD (724.34 MB which seems a bit oversized) with a nice video bitrate of 930 kbps and 129 kbs ABR mp3 audio.

In a remote part of the countryside, a bungled kidnapping turns into a living nightmare for four central characters when they cross paths with a psychopathic farmer and all hell breaks loose.

    I just checked out the trailer… It doesn’t look too much like a comedy! lol More like the trailer was set to make it look more like one, but I’m sure it has comical parts… For the past year Britain’s been making better comedy movies than North America has :P

    It is meant to be a comedy…i’ve seen numerous reviews/interviews with director/writers/cast on tv here in the UK…its one of our typical dry humour type movies

    Comedy/Horror genre is a lot of fun. Like Severence (http://imdb.com/title/tt0464196/), Shaun of the Dead, Slither, Feast, etc. They’re easier to watch because you are supposed to laugh at the lameness of it.

    Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz are just two movies in a completely different league to the standard comedy/horror genre. They’re just so different and amazing. Cannot wait for the third movie (yes even though these movies are unrelated, they’re part of a trilogy)

    pity about the video quality – it’s a 2.35:1 movie, but the screener is 1.82:1. Control was the same if anyone watched the screener of that; the same issues are evident here.

    still, it’s much better than a cam, and is perfectly watchable.

    Hot fuzz was awful – it definitely was in a different league; the primary school league. it wasn’t comedic nor was it horrifying (other than how badly written it was). Shaun on the other hand was fantastic (just like dog soldiers and severance).

    went to see this at the cinema recently, but only because one of my friends is in it :)

    Not a bad movie, but i felt a little let down as i’d read the script, and they chut a load of it out the movie.
    So it felt like a lot of the story was missing.
