Interesting little catch here. Usually in the TV section we barely ever get screeners. A TV screener is like a DVD Screener – it is sent out to a critic or reviewer in advance to write an article about it for a tv magazine, website etc, usually because so people can read about it before it airs on TV. Clever but not-so-popular group BLM has gotten their hands on show ‘The Closer‘ . I have never heard or seen of this show until I looked it up on Wikipedia. The shows ratings are very good: “basic cable’s most-viewed scripted series ever.” The Closer has won many awards, here are just some of them: Golden Globe 2007 – best actress performance, 2006 and 2005 Satellite Awards – award for outstanding female lead in a drama series, 2006 Gracie Allen Award for outstanding female lead in a drama series, Imagen Foundation Award 2006 award for best supporting actor. This premiere episode of season three is set for Monday, June 18 2007. But thanks to this screener you get to download and watch it on Saturday

As the third season opens, Brenda and the PHD are investigating the violent murder of a family with one survivor: their drug-abusing teenaged son. In the office, budget cuts affect every part of the LAPD, resulting in dramatic changes, including the potential retirement of one PHD squad member. On the home front, Fritz thinks it’s time for he and Brenda to find a new house.

meh, this show is annoying . they play this dumb country guitar music in the background. it’s not even like the good background music in CSI. so for that reason I stop it halfway through and delete it. plus it’s boring.

there are enough lawyer/CSI type shows out there alraedy, I think we can afford to be picky in which ones we watch.
reasons to watch this show :
Kyra Sedgwick (she is hot)
It’s in the summer, and CSI and the rest of the shows are off.
It is filled with ADULT intelligent humor, and loads of in-jokes.
The mysteries are not the point, it’s the jokes and the personal life of the team….
Target audience is 30 and above… if you are younger go watch “Hidden Palms”
If you have not seen any films made before 1980 or tv crime series from the 70’s, this show is not for you.
If you develop a brain, you will learn that watching it with any girl, increases your chance of getting laid by 500%…. chicks digg this show.. and its (in their world) sexy.
But hey, you go and watch WWE with your girl, or some lame ass reality show.

I like this show but, it seems like more and more bad show are arriving on TV. I am selective of the episodes I like of this show.. but then you lose the interaction between the other cops with the head chick.
Yeh these crappy shows are a dime a dozen these days. I’m actually totally amazed that this show doesn’t have any psychic/supernatural themes in it. That seems to be the theme of the year. Christ almighty, what bunch of losers actually sit around and come up with these shitty ideas ?!?

I just watched this screener a couple hours ago and its very good. Season 3 looks like it will kick ass.
