We have this promising movie “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian” pred in 720p BluRay Rip from iNFAMOUS about half an hour ago. As you know, this is the second in The Chronicles of Narnia film series from Walt Disney Pictures and Walden Media, following “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” in 2005. To tell you the truth, I havn’t watched the 1st yet, maybe it’s time now.

PLOT: The four Pevensie children return to Narnia, only to discover that hundreds of years have passed since they ruled there, and the evil King Miraz has taken charge. With the help of a heroic mouse called Reepicheep, and the exiled heir to the throne, Prince Caspian, they set out to overthrow the King, once again with Aslan’s help.

    I know!!!! Its STUPID!!!!! Whats the bloody point. Might as well just download the 700 meg version… or the 300 meg version if its been encoded.

    Of course, it won’t make a difference on a tiny computer monitor. You have to go 42+ inches to really appreciate the advantage of HD.

    It’s all about the viewing distance in relation to the screen size… Watching on a 22in monitor from 1ft away is the same as watching it on a 42in from several feet away…

    Even on a smaller monitor there is a massive difference. I cant stand watching a movie that is grainy or pixelated, which most of the 700mb rips are. I usually only download them if I really want to see the movie.

    8 gigs is ok, because you can have ConvertXtodvd easily fit it onto a dvd-9..

    in fact i cringe when i see a blu-ray rip come in at 4.7 gigs, when it could/should be for the DVD-9 size…MORE QUALITY IS BETTER ALL AROUND!

    but i can’t see the point of those 25 gig releases unless you have an actual Blu-Ray disc burner..

    and if you do, i’m jealous!

    It is a shame this movie was average, because the movie takes place in a fantasy land with lots of vibrant colors and textures which look awesome on HDTV.

    it is pretty useless, unless you havent used rapidahare in about 4 days and let the 2gb limit build up, not renewing when it expires, considering their major market of downloaders, enforcing limits like this will just make their income go down, and that of megashares/upload go up.
