DV8 is on top of things once again. A day after releasing the new Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy almost 3 months before the release date, they have come through with the new Chemical Brothers greatest hits set, Brotherhood, a month before it’s release. I can honestly say my knowledge of electronic/club music is practically nil, as it’s not my scene. But I, just like most people, am definitely familiar with the Chemical Brothers and some of their huge hits. So for casual or hardcore electronica fans, this is for you.
The Chemical Brothers are the United Kingdom-based Grammy Award winning electronic music duo of Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons (occasionally referred to as Chemical Tom and Chemical Ed). Initially they called themselves “The Dust Brothers”, after the noted United States production duo of the same name, but their burgeoning popularity and the threat of legal action from the originals led them to change their name in 1995. Along with The Prodigy, Fatboy Slim and The Crystal Method, as well as other lesser-known acts they were pioneers of the big beat electronic dance genre, and are known for high-quality live sets.

ahhh i thought this was gonna be new tracks. just another best of. Not to disregard the ripper, but someone could have just gotten the tracklist and compiled the folder from their last best of and singles collection. Oh well, thanks anyways!

i believe you are right. this CD is supposed to be a 2 CD comp, with a 2nd CD including all the electronic battle weapon songs.

Indeed, this release does include a new track. And this is ripped off a promo, the 2cd will only be when it retails.
DV8 still pwn the music scene, should check out some of their other releases recently, have been releasing a hell of alot of advance stuff.

They undoubtedly wanna ’sound contemporary’ with the whole Casio-sound thing, but the new track is horrible. (Listening to it, I have visions of U2 and the Beastie Boys for some reason…)
Real sad. Just get the first best-of, full-lengths up to Push The Button, and/or search the web for their multitude of b-sides/remixes/bootlegs.

If you are claiming that only 320kbit is making you satisfied, please make an ABX test of original vs. encoded mp3 from that original at 192 kbit and please do share the results and explain where did you heard the difference, so others can confirm. In the mean time, be quiet about things you clearly do not understand and have read about on some warez board.
