Guys from scene group XanaX released a dvd screener of western The Burrowers some 30 minutes ago. This is actually a low budget combination of western and horror directed by J.T. Petty and starring Doug Hutchison, Clancy Brown and Sean Patrick Thomas. The NFO doesn’t offer any details about quality but it should be a standard 1 CD rip.

It is 1879 in the Dakota Territories. A handful of brave pioneers maintain isolated settlements in the badlands beyond civilization. Irish Immigrant Fergus Coffey is near to winning the hand of his beloved Maryanne when she is suddenly taken from him, her family brutally abducted in a nighttime attack on their homestead. Suspicion falls immediately on hostile Indians. Experienced Indian fighters Will Parcher and John Clay form a posse and set out to rescue the kidnapped settlers, taking along a naïve teenager hoping to prove himself a man, an ex-slave looking to find his place in the world and their ranch-hand, Coffey. But as men vanish in the night and horrific evidence accumulates with the dead and dying, the group discovers that their prey is far more terrifying than anything human, and their prospects are far more terrible than death.

    Quality is Good – movie looks great.

    One really f&n annoying thing is that there's a "Property of Lionsgate" message on the bottom the whole time. Now usually that isn't so annoying but there are hardcoded subs for Indian speaking parts. The message overlaps w/ the subs so it's a pain to read 'em.

    About 20min into the film – so far it's quite good.

    Its crazy that you dont even need to log in to post here. I would say more then 50% of ALL posts here are phishing links. Its stupid. Of course, people should not not fall for these scams and be careful but not everyone is clued up enough so I fear for new people here who dont know any different.

    Why cant the site have a simple log in process like every other website on the internet where people can be banned from posting if they post phishing links.

    This place is dying.
