The Brothers Solomon DVD SCREENER XViD-PUKKA

Here is PUKKA with the DVDScr of the new comedy “The Brothers Solomon”. The quality of their release looks good and I think it’s time for the ones who like comedies to grab this. I haven’t seen the trailer and I don’t know what to expect, cause the plot is also unknown to me. Will Arnett looks familiar from his play in the other comedy “Blades of Glory”. In an other cover of this movie it says: “A Hillarious off-center comedy, which plays like Dumb & Dumberer meets Knocked Up…”. Enjoy and have fun!

The Brothers Solomon follows the hapless quest of brothers John (Will Arnett) and Dean Solomon (Will Forte) to find a woman — any woman — willing to bear their child and fulfill the wish of their dying father (Lee Majors). After a few dating disasters, it looks as if the brothers may beat the odds and find what they’re looking for when Dean meets a woman eager to have his baby. Unfortunately, she is flattened by a passing bus right before his eyes.

Undeterred, the single-minded brothers change tactics, ditching conventional dating to try their luck with, in short succession, a street hooker, an adoption agency and finally, the Craigslist website. Their online ad quickly attracts a response from Janine (Kristen Wiig), who agrees to be a surrogate mother for their child — for a hefty fee. Janine’s pining ex, James (Chi McBride), is none too thrilled about her decision, but a trip to the fertility clinic ensues and before long Janine is with child.

As the pregnancy progresses and the brothers embark on an ill-advised self-study course in parenting, Janine finally begins to warm to the brothers’ earnest enthusiasm. Even James, with whom she is now reunited, can’t help but laugh at their antics. Perhaps they will make decent dads after all.

But as the birth date looms, Janine gets cold feet and vanishes. For the first time, the brothers’ tireless optimism flags and it occurs to them that — despite the double Ph.D.s they each earned during their home schooling days in the North Pole — they might be losers after all. But rather than give up, the tenacious siblings decide to do everything within their power to find Janine and fulfill their father’s wish.

well the score on imdb (no offense) is just a wrong reflection of the movie most of the times,

i have seen awesome movies whom had a score of 6 and 7,
not to mention the score changes with the time as the number of votes grows.

anyways that was just my opinion on the score in imdb, not on the movie particularly.

After reading the premise, all I want to know is how rubbish like this gets funded while indie filmmakers doing amazing work (like the recent Man From Earth) struggle to get taken seriously.

Even the President is a cheap running joke. No offense but it’s true. This is our culture?

    @mv

You are wrong, the IMDB score is an average from users voting on the movie. As the number of votes increases, the rating becomes a more accurate reflection of the voters feeling about that movie.

Does anyone have the Paypal link for the producers of this movie? I want to pay them because I plan to download it.

I read the comments from the producers of Man From Earth, and now that we are all in agreement that we must pay for each release we download, I suggest that the Paypal link be included in each release posting.

It will make it much easier for all of us to pay this money with the Paypal link already available.

Good Luck Chuck got bad reviews but was OK. Knocked Up got good reviews and was perhaps the worst film of the year.

  16. November 14th, 2007 | 20:39

I agree with James, I think Knocked Up and Superbad are over-rated. I like Superbad a lot, but not to be in the IMDB top 250.

Good Luck Chuck was nice to watch.

It’s too bad I have no interest in watching this movie. Mainly because I was home schooled. And I’m not (that) dumb. I have no problem interacting with people. I’m young, married and have 3 sons. Anyways, the picture looks great.

what are all of you talking about this movie was off the chain! Will Arnett and Will Forte make the weirdest duo ever! Just when you think Arnett is gonna stop being a dumbass weirdo, he comes back weirder than ever. “I’m over you! In your face! Suck it!” This is funnier than Superbad, Knocked Up, Hot Rod, all put together, plus it has this really hot chick. Oh yeah Arnetts big melon-head does freak me out, but he’s still the coolest.
