A group REiGATE which seems completely unknown to me released a dvdrip of new horror The Breed. This one is marked as REAL, because it is from retail R1 DVD source – there were 2 nuked dvdrips of this movie already released, but none of them was retail or flawless. REiGATE also provided JPEG samples to compare the quality and it’s all pretty obvious, this one is much better than previous rips from groups ZN and ConvicT. The story isn’t somehow original, neither is the camera, but it’s a decent, scary thriller with Michelle Rodriguez (Ana Lucia from LOST) in the main role.

Two close brothers, Matt and John head to an exotic island for a week of fun and relaxation. Joined by Matt’s girlfriend Nicki, Sara, and a friend Noah, the group intend on having a week of relaxation, fun and spending quality time together. However, after one of them is viciously attacked by a dog, the friends decide to leave the island early – only to find their sea plane set a drift by the dogs. As the day goes on, the friends find themselves fighting for their lives against a vicious pack of mutated dogs who don’t intend on the group making it out alive off the island…
