2 hours on one CD is awful quality though, I’d wait for another release. DVDRIp, DVDRiP, DVDRIP are all valid - a dirfix isn’t needed for incorrect capitalisation (imagine all the mp3 groups that capitalise of keke).

Stick with the COCAIN version if you wan’t 2 CD’s. Much better video quality and no line audio. I have the COCAIN version and would not download the this nedivx version. If you don’t believe me then get the COCAIN sample and see for yourself.

@23 depends, are you talking HD screen size or regular resolution screen size (NTSC, PAL)?
on hd cant give you right answer, on my 22 inch wide computer screen (1680×1050) good encoded 700mb movies looks ok, little blurry, but that can be sorted out with sharpness filter.
on regular tv (PAL), i can watch a good encoded 700mb file on a 32inch widescreen tv very good.
it also depends how far you sit away, the further, the more tolerable you become.

Wish I could download just the .ac3 file from this release to replace the audio in the Cocaine release. Would like to watch it again with 5.1 surround sound and I think the DVD is still a fair way off in my country.
It’s a real good movie, not boring at all. But if you want a similar movie but with more action get Death Sentence starring Kevin Bacon -that may be more your thing. But I much prefer Jody Foster’s revenge tale.

I would add that adrive will sometimes stop your download as if its finished, but before 100% downloaded (can be as low as 30% downloaded), so if you use adrive to download, obviously check the file before burning to disc for standalone tv viewing. I’ve used all the services you listed - yastorage wins for me. Quick, simple, no pop-ups or wait times, and the download is quicker than adrive, in my experience. Shame they have half the limit of adrive… I didn’t know that.
As for this movie (getting on topic!) :D… I’ll stick with Cocaine’s version. Seemed pretty flawless to me, so I’ll save the bandwidth for Weedville.

used to get dl speeds of 1.2-1.5Mb/s from adrive; anymore it is around 250kB/s; I don’t consider that fast.
IMAO Cocain still the best release to date of this film.

a 700mb xvid looks blurry on a SD screen of 28″ and larger. HR.HDTV stuff looks fine on that size screen though, as does dvd.
guys trust me this is going to get nuked for being a 1CD rip since scene rules strictly say that a release over 105 minutes must be 2CD. the audio on this is crap as well and i think the scene rules should enforce using original AC3 audio as it is the best quality.

I would too, but this isn’t exactly a major blockbuster that everybody want to make their own rip of. I’ll get this version, but keep my eyes out for a better one.

There is no MAXIMUM scene rule governing length of movie. 105 mins is in regards to films less than that figure, ie a movie of 90mins must not be 2cd.
Some lame group may proper, but the correct way would be to internal it.

Get a grip… who buys empty cd anymore?;/ Net speed of most users (*rls log poll proves it) is enough to pull even 3 cd’s in about an hour!!!!!! it’s fine for everyone else because they watch it on a pc, but every other divx movie works fine on my portable dvd player. it’s only this thats messed.

I used to think the same thing, until I decided to spend the measly 25 bucks for 6 months of unlimited downloading. Now you won’t find me downloading from anywhere else. I have been convinced. Megashares rules. Just downloaded this in 20 minutes.

just play the file in VLC Media Player and you get sound..
but it would have been nice for the admin to test the files out first and tell everyone what program will read the file(s)

You can play them in Media Player Classic or u can recompile them using VirtualDubMod with direct stream copy. I wonder why nedivx cant create proper avis, which plays in every player with every codec correctly.
Btw heres a fixed version of this movie which has correct sound during the whole video. I just resaved it in VirtualDubMod and works like a charm, so nedivx sux.
