I find it quite funny that when asteroids released “The Kingdom” mVs slagged them off in their NFO for Passing Off Arabic Language without Supplying English Subtitles” and there they go trying to pass off Cam audio with R5 Video. So much for “Sipping Champagne” on that release LOL :D

I really can’t be bothered to re-download this, got the mvs version and happy with it. These constant nuke wars, despite sometimes being justified, is ridiculous. Most of the time I believe they just find any excuse to nuke something, whoever came up with these ‘rules’ anyway? Is there one overlord supreme who considers him/her self God and presides over us minions as to what can or can’t be released?

If there isn’t can I apply and how much does it pay?

    anyone one have seeds???

    thanks

  27. Finch
    December 15th, 2007 | 16:46

Noose, technically, if we reduce the number of peers from the one thousand-odd as currently, those peers still downloading will be able to do so quicker and by extension of this fact become seeders at a much faster rate.

Thus, if you’re currently a peer, simply stop trying to download for a few hours and things will progress much faster.

Why the hell would they use CAM audio to begin with? I was pissed when I got halfway through the movie and it sounded like someone dropped the camera. Do scene groups not care if their release is nuked?

Previous R5 release was good enough, movie was crap though. But just when i thought it couldn’t be worse i saw Flock with Richard Gere, that one tops this one by miles in terms of teribble-ness.

  49. Scene Rules!
    December 16th, 2007 | 06:01

Scene rules are out of date, and so are the people that still use CDR’s instead of DVDR’s. And this is why I think films should be ripped in to one whole 1.4 gig avi!!!

  50. Scene Rules!

excellent story line and powerhouse acting by jodie foster.dvd quality is also very good and sound great.love this release.thanx

    December 16th, 2007 | 13:51

There is definitely a problem with CD2 on this rip.
The Variable BitRate also creates problems when joining the files. Sure, FAM Joiner v1.1.2 will do the job.. but your finished .avi will be problematic on hardware players (I have four – 2 LG, 1 Phillips, 1 Samsung).

On the Samsung there was complete lockup during the second half of the movie. The LG would play it through without error as long as you didn’t try to fast forward during the second half of the movie, then it would freeze up while the audio restarted from frame one of the movie.

I’m suprised nobody else has found CD2 to be a problem.

just watched this on our lcd

picture quality was awesome…and sound for line was excellent.

movie is out of sync in some spots by the smallest bit, its barely noticeable.

Whew, I thought I was the only person having problems with the second part. Whenever it does the transition from part 1 to part 2 I get this little gray screen come across the picture. And the audio gets out of sync in some parts, not a huge deal, but when you pay attention, it’s noticeable. Oh well, still a great R5, so thanks for the upload.

    December 16th, 2007 | 22:43

Guys! Use AVIMux to do the job for you… it can join files with VBR without getting out of sync as long as they are same codec and resolution which i am sure this is…. try it!

    http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Video/Encoders-Converter-DIVX-Related/AVIMux-GUI.shtml

Just make sure that when you do, drag cd1 files in first, then the second and then highlight both to generate source data and porceed to safe and you will have no sync problems!

cd2 wont play in windows media player for me, it keeps crashing. i used my divx player and that works ok for it.

  65. Mike
    December 28th, 2007 | 09:30

Yeah, CD 2 on my Samsung DivX player was out of sync by almost a full second. I just got the player, but no other movies have done this yet. Is it the file or my player?

  66. Mike
    December 28th, 2007 | 10:00

AVIMux kills that ast avi mpeg joiner program. It’s free and it doesn’t leave any artifacts at the joined point. I tried fast avi mpeg joiner with a few movies, and none came close to perfect. AVIMux did.

  67. Brian

@65 yea cd2 was out of sync for me too.

    Thx for this release :)

Adrive is slower than RS for me, plus I have premuim on RS, so in my opinion RS is the best and fastes.

    Again thx for this.
