The Bourne Ultimatum DVDSCR XViD-iMBT

Wow, look what we have here a very nice DVDSCR for the movie The Bourne Ulitmatum! This comes from group iMBT and a very good DVDSCR it is too! Considering that its still quite early on for this movie release wise so this is a very welcome surprise! The quality is very good, the picture is bright and clear and the latter is ditto for the audio as well. Nothing in life is perfect is it and the same goes for this release as there is some large text at the top sayng “Universal Studios” and an equally large timeline at the bottom! Some are saying that this is in fact a WORKPRiNT but it hasn’t been nuked as such and at the end of the day does it really matter? Check the samples if you need to but i reckon anyone reading this article needs to download this release as its top stuff! Well done iMBT, very nice work!

    @102

i did it with VirtualDub. Download : http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/virtualdub/VirtualDub-1.6.19.zip?download

Then you need the filter: http://voidon.republika.pl/virtualdub/logoaway_v401.zip

Put the files of the filter in the plugins folder of virtualDub and then open virtualdub and use the filter with the given configurations.

    Now you get it?

I’ll wait for a dvdscr. The timer on the bottom and the logo on the top get in the way and the quality isn’t as good as a dvdscr.

    @101 Bako1;

    Your dimness astounds me

Anyways like #99 said, there are no actual missing scenes but it’s more like a vhs workprint then a true dvdscr.

To anyone having problems with ffdshow logoaway and audio synch while playing (rather than re-encoding), try a less processor-intensive mode (X-Y, Blur 1-2, Weight 5-10 looks fine).

ffdshow works with any DirectShow player (inc Media Player and MCE), just download and install the latest build, enable Codecs -> Xvid, then Show Filters -> Logoaway:

To the “it’s free” crowd. Actually viewing this site isn’t really “free”. There are many sites vying for my clicks. The more visitors a site gets, the more ads they can sell and the more “successful” there site becomes. There are very few sites who just do what they do for the goodness of it. Even those want SOMETHING from it, even if it’s just the notoriety or “cred” of being a heavily visited site.

Right now there is a vacuum and lack of this type of site. I’d rather visit a more professional site that gives me the same info in a more…mature and professional manner. They will get my “click” when I find that site. But don’t pretend I shouldn’t dare judge a web site. “Free” Google has made billions and billions being good at getting these little clicks.

Great movie and release. Although, i wished that i knew how to crop the timer at the bottom :(

  35. August 16th, 2007 | 02:50

Wow that was a fast DVD screener, Im going to wait for something better. people who like big summer action movies and havent watched this in the theater already must be a loser with no girlfriend or friends.

  36. Kenji
    August 16th, 2007 | 03:03

I think most of you are missing the point of the so-called “complainers”. A work-print and a screener are two completely different things. Yes the quality may be great on both (compared to cam and TS) but the fact that most work-prints have yet to be edited and may be missing scenes, special effects and audio is enough for most people to wait for a proper screener. On the other hand there are plenty of people out there that “collect” work-prints and would definitely download this to add to their collection.

That being said, all the “complainers” truly wanted was a proper description of said file. RS has been around long enough to know the difference between the two but chose not to correctly label this regardless of what the releasing group labeled it as. This tells me nothing more than they could truly give a fuck, and knew by listing it as a screener would equal more traffic to their site than listing it as a work-print, especially since said work-print has been out for over a week.

People will make up their own minds on whether or not to download this file, especially since all the comments have been about work-print vs. screener so they know ahead of time. My point is this, there is a difference between the two and RS knows this. Say all you want about it being free, but my time is not free and wasting my time downloading something that is mislabeled just so a site can generate more traffic is unethical, but than again we are the ones downloading movies for free right, so fuck ethics, that is all, have a good day, nothing to see here :)

    ……………..flame on

  38. August 16th, 2007 | 04:02

First off I’de like to say thanks to IMBT for the DVDSCR; it was quiet a shock to see its rls so soon. Ive seen alot of screeners and I’ve tolerated the logos, watermarks, and black and white scenes for a long time. I justcan’t seem to bring myself to watch this, I mean.. unless I missed something I have never seen a screener with titles so big, and the time code is hugggeee; but I still am very thankful for this screener despite its imperfections. As for me and my ADHD I will dl this for me padres and wait for DVDRIP OR R5 for myself; cause the timecode makes me woozy. Anyways who cares; good job IMBT!!

Wow, the speed on this was nice screener or not. As for it missing scenes etc, we’ll just have to see. There’s no point in arguing whether it’s a screener or workprint at this point. Wait till a *possible* proper is released.

Thanks again iMBT, rlslog and usenet :D

    Workprint but complete.
Doesn’t mean the actual movie will have the same scenes or edit.
Biggest bummer is the bitrate 739 kbps causing noticable pixalation in lots of scenes.
This release has been floating around for awhile if you know where to look.
Fark its funny reading some of the dummest comments imaginable here at releaselog. Mines an exception of course.

EDIT: umm… i write DVDSCR as it is marked as a DVDSCR… and really does it matter all that much? BTW its not nuked as being a workprint and screeners can have property messages as well. WOW and you know what we dont give a shit if you think we got cred or not… i will change the post when i know its a workprint and not a dvdscr as written. BTW what i write its not a review… READ THE FAQ! One last thing if you dont like the site then get lost! bye bye!

Had to put this rant in from one of the editors within relation to that prick “DG”. Nice one.
I was a bit pissed off when i got home this morning after a hard nights work, to find out that the pc had shut down after installing the Microsoft windows automatic updates, The download had got to just over 60%. I’ve already watched the film and in my reason it puts the other two film’s to shame. Just have to wait for the forth film, beings that there is a 4th book. Not to sure if there is a 5th book have to have a look on the net. bBe interesting if there is. Thanks RLS for the site and IMBT for the release. Keep up the good work.

Some asked how to remove the timer + universal logo … its easy …

    1. With Media Player Classic … load it then press 8 on the keypad until both disappear (will deform a lil) OR 9 to PAN SCAN (Zoom) the image
2.do not watch in full screen ( will need more stretch or zoom to hide the logo and timer), turn your desktop icon off , make your wallpaper black ,,, autohide the windows taskbar and choose MINIMAL in the MPC view menu

anyway that is a quick solution that worked

  63. Smokie_UK1
    August 16th, 2007 | 07:57

I used to use a programme years ago, but can i remember the name, can i shite. It had a border at the top and bottom which you could move up and down to cut parts of the film like timer and the logo at the top. So i will see what this sony vegas is all about soon. The link i supplied is coming down at this end 180 to 200 kps and the file is 176.57 mb which is’nt going to take long.

  64. Smokie_UK1
    August 16th, 2007 | 08:02

Already have K-Lite, been using as default for a couple of years, no problems with it, but i only use it to watch about 10 mins of a film just to see the quality and that the sound is in check or bye bye. Nothing worse than watching a film that looks like one of them very poorly dubbed chinese film. Nasty.

Cheers, ‘STFU’. You Really add to this topic. Considering Ive tried all the things above and it either crops it out or it makes it out of sync, I’m pretty sure someone will release a version without the TC. Who knows, a real DVDSCR might come…

Workprints aren’t necessarily all that bad. I’ve seen some excellent horror ones where you get a couple of extra scenes because it hasn’t gone in for age-rating yet.
I’ll be happy as long as there aren’t peoples heads bobbingup and down in front. God, I hate TS’.

  84. phishybongwaters
    August 16th, 2007 | 15:00

If it is infact nuked, it’s because it was mislabbeld.

I watched this and again I will stress, THIS IS A 100% COMPLETE workprint, which is why they labelled it as a DVDSCR.

It’s complete, with every scene/effect/sound from the cam, there is no reason to bitch about this release, if you don’t want it, don’t fucking download it.

Seriously, I really don’t think enuff people are being banned, this is stoopid.

The torrent appeared here AS SOON as it appeared on public trackers, with that, it was on my private sites about 15 minutes before the article here was posted.

So make up your fucking minds, do you ignorant ungratefull assholes want it logged here as soon as possible, even if the torrent isn’t out yet, or do you want it a daqy late WITH a public tracker torrent?

Cause all you do is bitch eitherway

hi everyone. quite new to downloading torrents. normally just do it off bearshare or limewire. how the hell do you watch something if it’s more than one file? one file only (avi) i can watch fine using vlc. when i downloaded the bug repack or that gangs du soleil documentary, they downloaded as loads of unrecognised files which i can’t get to work. i tried downloading some xvid thing but it still won’t work. what do i do?

    mozleystan

Don’t worry about the way it’s always in multiple files. It’s the Torrent way.
What you have to do is join the files together (extract)with a program called WINrar. You probably don’t have it so click this link.

    http://www.newtorrents.info/torrent/21788/WinRAR.v3.70.Incl.Keymaker.And.Patch-CORE.html

It’s only small and should only take a minute to download.
Install (i trust you know how to use keygens, etc). When you have installed WINrar go to the folder with BUGS and RIGHT CLICK on the top file. On the right click menu select EXTRACT HERE and it will start joining the file. When it’s finished you will have your normal avi plus the original multi files. It’s normally at the bottom of the page(new avi file)

@192 mozleystan doh! Here’s some general knowledge for ya: whatever letters are after the last dot in the filename makes up the file extension, which define it’s type. U take that and search for it on google and u’ll learn what to do. Where did u think knowledge came from anyways? Someone else? Neh. It’s u dude. U gotta learn it yourself.

Interesting how people are so ungrateful for something they couldn’t get on their own and can’t make. If you don’t like the quality don’t leech it and STFU. Alas somethings never change!

As for this workprint aka “DVDSCR” it’s a fast iNT studio WP with good audio and kinda grainy video that could’ve used some filtering but my guess is iMBT had to rush it. Overall the watermark isn’t bad after a few minutes but the time code at the bottom is a bit annoying IMO. I’m sure someone else will rls it blurred for all those who like it more that way. It will make an excellent audio source for later though. But it IS the best version out to date! So you make the choice.

    Doh!

I must admit I was quite excited when I saw DVD SCR as it leads me to believe the quality is good, however; The logo I can live with, the massive (and trust me it’s by no means small!) timer at the bottom is a bit much for me, but as people have already said it’ll be a great source for a decent digital CAM or other good video source and lets face it; it is by far the best quality out there.

Would also have to agree that it’s blatantly not a DVD SCR other wise which ever DVD machine they got to print this needs replacing!

Look’s like I’m off to the cinema to watch it tomorrow night now! :)
