The Bill S24E89 PROPER WS PDTV XviD-CaRaT

British series are just crazy! Season 24? Episode 89? Are you kidding me? Don’t know whether there are British readers here. “The Bill” recounts the goings-on within and around Sun Hill, a Metropolitan Police Station located in the fictional Borough of Canley, in east London. Here CaRaT brings you a PROPER release of latest episode claiming that ORGANiC’s crop changes in one of their last segs (41:41) & has adverts at the end of the show.

EP 24.89 Second Chance

It is New Year’s Eve and Smithy and Mel are out on patrol together when they are called to a nightclub where a boy has been stabbed. Mel is horrified to find out that the young man arrested for the attack is her brother, Jordan. His girlfriend, Kelly, admits that the victim, Josh, had been flirting with her all night – but Jordan denies stabbing him As the bells ring out at midnight, Josh’s life is in danger and Mel sees her brother’s freedom slipping away.

Well will i know you get alot of stick for posting these "obscure" british shows, as an american i really appriciate it.
I have found british shows on the whole to be far better than american shows and i check out all your suggestions, previously i had watched an episode of one show you recommended and i ended up watching all the seasons, it took me some time but it was hella good.
keep up the good work will, my regards stephen.

Not British but I do love some of their programming. I'm thrilled that people over there up it for those of us not in the UK and grateful that RLSLOG gives a heads-up on it.

Matter of fact, one of my new favorite shows, New Tricks, I only found out about from this site and gave it a try. It's fab and I thank you for it!

Can't wait for tomorrow night's Jonathan Creek movie too :)

To those complaining mother fxxxers, this site is an infomation site, not a recommendation site, the editors' job is to try to inform you all the scene releases. (not posible though)

My point is just because the editor makes a post, doesn't mean they watch the show. So stop fxxxing put it on me.

For whats worth, I myself dont watch any British shows, and I need your recommendation in fact.

Great stuff! Surprised to see this classic British show posted here. But as a Brit I think it is great, Rlsog often introduces me to great American shows that I would not otherwise see. Some storylines in the Bill certainly better than others, so you should not judge a programme by 1-2 episodes.

Well done Will, however please don't post every episode. ;)

im British. Perhaps i can clarify….

The Bill, much like EastEnders, Corrination St, last of the summer wine, Doctors… and various others are not shows with series as such. they have been on for over 25 years, on a DAILY basis – not weekly. Neighbours is an Australian example, I think you guys have bay watch, but im not sure if thats weekly or daily.

I dont find these daily shows particularly good since it requires commitment to watch them daily. I prefer to stick to weeklys so taht ifi miss one i can catch up easily beofre the next weeks ep.

quite suprised this is posted though!

if you tihnk series 24 ep 89 is bad, look at eastenders. i believer they are around series 45 and each has 100+ eps. you'd need a TB drive just for the series lol….

Does seem a strange and random choice, I guess releases are thin on the ground this time of year.

The Bill isnt what it used to be, but they do come up with some cracking storylines sometimes.

As for poster 20, get your head out your arse.

The bill is a show that was turned into a soap a few years back. it was just a show where each episode had its own story and thats the end… but a few years back it was turned into a soap…

I watched it back in the days (When the music hit with just some feel walking up a path…. :P ) but stopped watching when it got its soap status.

Unlike in the USA we dont cut out shows when they miss a few viewers… Maybe the US should try it sometime.

  30. Bill was good
    January 1st, 2009 | 11:36

Bill was good till they started messing with it and making in more like a US police series. I didn't mind it when they made episodes hr long as gave better plots, but then every second officer became corrupt, had a love life crisis or was killed off and it got ridiculous. The worst was when they got rid of Beech and then chased him to Australia. That was the worst episode ever, and after that the Bill got slowly worse and worse. Without Reg and Stamp to keep it going it became ridiculous.

I have to agree with some posts that this episode of the Bill was not one of it's best. Over the years I have enjoyed most episodes, as they have dealt with serious & controversial issues. To be honest when it comes to police series, then nothing beats my fave " TAGGART " then again I would do, as I'm Scottish.

  33. allanarmstrong
    January 1st, 2009 | 16:21

And we can never forget DCI Frank Burnside, Sgt Bob Cryer and Ted Roach R.I.P. And as for Taggart…great when Taggart was actually in it but now no way!!!

I am also 'British' but must live in a parallel dimension, because here out of "The Bill, much like EastEnders, Corrination St, last of the summer wine, Doctors" none are on daily! Some are on weekdays, but we have things at the end of the week call weekends (These happen after friday and saturday) and here The Bill is only on twice a week! CRAZY!
But then again British series are just !C!R!A!Z!Y!
