    when the industry focused on rapidshare (which is about to disappear soon) Hotfile took the major chunk of their customers
    Hotfile is also feeling the pressure now, being forced of having a large “abuse team” watching the uploads for illegal content. they also know the faster they take stuff off – the more customers they loose, but that’s the game

    So after rapidshare’s downfall, hotfile is next to go down the drain, because lets face it, without illegal download customers they can close 95% of their offices.

    my advice
    - switch services often
    - max. 3 month contracts

    Best bet at the moment imho is fileserve (links everywhere & fast)

    enjoy as long as you can
