The Baker 2007 DVDRip XviD-MEDiAMANiACS

A rather unknown British comedy The Baker is now available in the dvdrip quality thanks to the release from group MEDiAMANiACS. This is a kind of movie with special British humour, which may be hard to understand for non-Britons. However, the IMDB comments are mostly positive so you might want to give it a try. This rip offers a standard 1 CD quality and mp3 audio.

Can’t sleep? Hate your job? Hate the city? Kill people for a living? Meet Milo – he knows how you feel. Milo’s a hit-man on the edge. When something snaps inside his head and he fails to fulfil a contract, he has to escape the city to avoid the wrath of his employers. Pursued by a ruthless colleague with a thing for rubber gloves, he hides out in a remote Welsh village, where he is mistaken for the new baker. Forced to bake to maintain the cover, what he discovers is nothing short of a revelation – when he bakes, all his worries seem to disappear. Baking is therapy.

I’m starting to like British comedies. American comedies are starting to become lame.

Is it British comedy in the sense of “Black Books”, “The Office” or in the sense of “Monty Python” or “Fawlty Towers” ? Or is it neither but something more akin to “Shaun of the Dead” and “Run Fat Boy, Run” (the latter was really bad btw!)

Looking forward to it, yeah run fat boy run sucked because it wasn’t a British film at all, just had British actors, the guys behind the scenes, were mostly American.

    “A rather unknown British comedy”
British being Scottish, English or Welsh? People can be so ignorant sometimes; we don’t get posts on here that say “Oriental” or “Southern-hemispherian” movies. Why the disrespect for people from Great Britain?

  23. Booyeah!
    April 9th, 2008 | 21:33

Damian Lewis is from both “Band of Brothers” as well as the recent American TV Drama “Life”. Despite his dead-on American accent in both of those shows, he’s a born and raised Englishman.

<– pulls 22 off his horse. ‘British’ is fine. Leave him alone! :D

p.s. of course I only say that because I’m English, and we pretty much own (pwn) the rest of Britain. :D j/k

pps. the show Life was good… so I’m interested to see this. good job on posting RLS. :D

    April 9th, 2008 | 21:36

Why can’t people who don’t have anything to say but complain about the posts here just.. leave?

I happen to enjoy Rlslog immensely, and I would hate for it to close down because a few a-holes just have to complain about this and that all the time.

-Get a life, get out and smell the flowers, play bridge with your grannies, sit on your hand for a while and then close your eyes and pretend someone else jerks you off..

Do whatever you like, just stop complaining all the time!
