New DVDSCR of “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford” has been released to the scene by group COCAiN. Pretty impressive and welcome release even though this film has been officially out for a while. No other releases of this movie have been pre’d except for one very crappy CAM a good while ago. Lets hope its not a sign of things to come. However on with this release the quality is very good both image and audio wise. The only downer really is the fact that its Fullscreen instead of the more usual Widescreen so it might get a bit of getting used to when watching. Other than that download and enjoy, you should it has some great ratings! :D

    great movie, i saw it in cinema and
    im waiting for a widescreen – best in HD ;-)
    the photography and music is amazing

    but don’t watch it if you want typical western with a lot of action, shooting and stuff…
    lots of ppls in the cinema where reaaaly disappointed…

    those cloverfield pics i think are fakes… looks like somebody put in the “property of paramount pictures” logo themselves as a joke…you’ll notice those screens are only from the trailer…if there are no screens from elsewhere in the movie not in the trailer then it’s 100% fake

    a little info about any “property of whoever” messages/b&w scenes and some details about their frequency would be appreciated.

    i know i’m not the only one who’s watched a screener or two that has been ruined by those kinda things(shoot’em up, 28 weeks later, no country for old men)

    There are several B&W scenes throughout the film. They happen every 10 minutes for 1 minute.

    @Death To Full Screen (82): Well, none of the releases you are speaking about are R5. ;) One is a VHS-Screener (which are often FS) and this one is a DVD-Screener (which from time to time are FS). :)

    I agree with you though, WS would be much nicer. :D

    What ever happened to the R5 of National Treasure? There was a post earlier this month that said it was going to be released on Jan 17th. And tracker seems to be down still for this torrent.

    the disadvante of FS is that those movies are shot in widescreen format, and people shouldnt be bothered with versions, where at least one third of the picture is missing, no matter if you have an old classic 4:3 TV or a widescreen one. i find it far more annoying then some bw scenes. and in this case i think the irony is that you have a version that claims to be a 2CD high quality version but on the other hand is missing one third of the picture… i still dont get why movie companies bring FS version of their movies out, many “normal” TVs and DVD Players have a zoom option, if people want to ruin their movie, they could still do it with a WS version.

    This has really long B&W scenes. I’d recommend just waiting for the dvdrip as it should appear soon. Looks like a good movie tho :)

    bw scenes means “black & white scenes”. It`s a kind of copy protection to make the screener less watchable for pirates like us :)

    Little advice, just try to wait a few days sometimes…! When there is one screener other and better version are there to be released. I don’t think this is really worth the 1,4GB bandwidth

    This is FS but the quality of the sound and video is very very nice. Best screener by far in a while as far as sound and quality. Was a joy to watch.

    Don’t worry about the full screen. The movie is a good cure for insomnia; otherwise, it’s not worth the download let alone watching. But thanks for flick anyway–just glad that I didn’t waste the $$$ at the theater!

    @ 131 – probably don’t have the rights audio codecs. quick fix is to download vlc media player. google it. it’s quite simply the best.

    I have to agree with Crazyhorse. Im glad this one didn’t get added to the Blockbuster list to ship. Brad Pitt so outshines the other actors it was more of a Jesse James Castaway. Quality video…less the b/w annoyance.
