These are all past-time actors. Even buffy is on it =P
All star cast? Ok Whittaker is fine and Delpy is well known enough in Europe but the rest are B-movies stalwarts! Even Garcia and Bacon are more lightweights than heavyweights, and Frasier and particularly Gellar are pretty lame, though I did like Frasier in the Quiet American.

A stew of cheap irony, ponderous but meaningless allegory, violence and pretension, the movie is all borrowed style and calculated pandering. It does, however, get more ludicrous by the minute. So in that sense, it’s good for an occasional laugh.

Most aussie movies suck donkey ballsack. Except for the movie “2:37″ which i think was pretty good drama.
I’m not surprised at the sucky reviews for this, it is boring, its time I’ll never get back.
The IMDB score is probably inflated by Buffy/SMG sycophants, its actually a very low number of votes so its not a true reflection of the quality of the movie, give it a few weeks when normal people have actually seen it and watch that score plummet!

IMDB has nothing to do with the average viewer’s opinion. It’s completely dominated by teenagers and young [mostly male] adults. Besides, first 1,000-2,000 of voters are comprised of filming crew members and highly subjective fans who will rate prematurely without even watching the movie. Obviously, those ratings have nothing to do with reality. Snakes on the plane got 9-something when it came out and the first couple of teens casted their votes. Now it’s 6.5, which is still ridiculously high since it’s still affected by the early votes.

i just download the movie and watched it.
I dont really understand what was the fuzz about this movie, it was a horrible movie, the only good thing about the movie was the picture, everything else really sucked. The script was pathetic, i think it tries too hard to develop a punch, is too weak, i just think it lacked imagination and complexity, everything was too cliche.
that is just my opinion, want a better movie that gets the job done? watch CRASH.
