Another post from me, on what is otherwise, a dead day.  It’s been a decent weekend for music releases, but dry as a well seemingly for anything else.  FNT brings everyone the new album from emo rock superstars The Academy Is…, a few days before it’s released.  This is their third studio album, and in that time, they have built a very loyal fanbase.  So if this is your thing, check it out.

The Academy Is… is a band based in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. They were originally known as “The Academy”, but added the “Is…” in 2004, to avoid legal complications with other established bands already going under that name. They are signed to record label Fueled by Ramen and have released two full albums, Almost Here and Santi, and are preparing to release their third album, Fast Times at Barrington High, in August 2008.

    OK, when i look at the picture of the band, i see a group of pansies and pillowbiters, queers, nut gobblers etc. You know what i’m talkin about here.

    This band is a group of no-good boner blowers. I mean these guys have been blowin on more whistles than a referee.

    I heard they even sucked and effed their way through all the record execs for that deal.

    These guys are total sexual deviants

    Almost as homo as the picture of a queer band called “We The Kings”, which RLSLOG posted some time ago.
