Very pointless app, there is a trillion billion free apps like this and better ones as well if you just want text to be read up.

On other hand don’t expect to find any free and downloadable voices anywhere on the net :P

Not a bad idea when you simply want to listen instead of tiring ur eyes out staring at a screen…

Side note: Does anyone know of a torrent for an excellent Speech-to-Text program?

    Mr. X (staff):

I see the word ‘good’ disepered there, but no you won’t find any good voices out there to download anywhere, And the one you linked me to is one of the worst I’ve heard the past years.

There is good enought voices out there who can mimic humans up to about 90% by now, but they aint free, nor have I ever seen torrents of em.

    Hi,

I downloaded this and I noticed it’s a zipped exe archive. When I tried to unzip this, after it reaches to 100%, it tries to change something in my registry, a warning popped up from my virus-scanner shield. Perhaps there is some malware integrated in the archive?
