Assuming from number of comments added to CloneDVD release of Test Drive Unlimited, this is a really popular game. I always liked these racing simulators, from Need for Speed over rally titles like Richard Burn’s or Collin McRae Rally to online simulation as Trackmania. Although it took little longer than usual, HATRED bring us working crack, and you shouldn’t miss it. I won’t write the full post about the game, you can read all important in the previous one…

Can somebody help me out plz. I installed and reinstalled a bunch of times and still can’t get it to work. If I install and don’t copy the crack and try to run it, a message appears saying that I have the wrong disc inserted. If I copy the crack and try to run it, a black screen appears for a second and disappears and nothing happens. I have used the crack from this release as well as Vitality’s and can’t make it work. Can somebody help me out plz!!
Dude, I’m at the same place. I don’t know why this game is so hard to crack reliably, a few can get it to run but not the majority.

I used Deviance Crack, Hatred Crack (yeah i know its the fake deviance one), i used deamontools 4.0.6 with YASU and the mini-image etc.
and as i said i tried to turn off the game port
i also disabled all usb devices, just as is was told somewhere else
i spent the entire day looking for a solution in the web
come on there must be a way….
BLACK SCREEN SOLUTION:
I tried this and it works both on a laptop with nvidia geforce (drivers 101.41), no need to disable game ports, no yasu, no daemon. nothing!
only used the Deviance Crack and that euro folder. Anyway it was too slowwwww!!!!
Instead I had the black screen problem on a pc with an Ati radeon 850. I thought it was some driver problem, but when i disabled the game port it finally worked. NO need for yasu, or dameon, alcohol, just the crack.
Just to make sure we’re using the same crack:
look for this: “dev-tduint.rar”
It’s the real crack from deviance not hatred.
i am using the same crack as you do. Still not working. I think i’ll have to reinstall the game again and try it your way for the x’th time. Hopefully it’ll be working

Well I think I know maybe why this isn’t working for me, I have an integrated Intel(R)82845G graphics controller. Can anyone tell me if this meets the minimum requirements.

I installed the game by daemon tools, I put the crack and serial, and I can play (no online) but the game runs horrible!!! too slow!! I can’t play with this problem

In Windows XP:
Hold down the Windows key on your keyboard (usually between Ctrl and Alt) and hit the Pause/Break key (usually above PageUp)
On the dialog that appears go to the ‘Hardware’ tab and click the “Device Manager” button.
In the new window that opens find “Sound, Video, and Game Controllers” (towards the bottom) and expand/double click it.
If there is an item in that category that has “Game Port” in the name, right-click on it and select ‘Disable’, and select Yes to confirm.
If there is no such item there or if that doesn’t fix the problem, you’re out of luck.
Ok, i don’t know whether this is working with everyone but all the help from the community didn’t solve the problem.

WOW! I just realize that the minimum memory requirement for the video card is 256MB! I only have 128MB. It’s mean that the game will not work or it will be very slow.
Since that I have opened YASU**, each time that I try to launch the program, I have the black windows of Test Drive Unlimited and a program error. But this time only, it was a special time, I have see the black windows, I didn’t have an program error, the windows has maximized, I have see my desktop in another resolutuon (640*480 instead of 1024*768) and finally, end of the best, the program stopped and I have a “cannot read memory instruction” message. The program has shutted down.
I have retried to run the program, but now I have program error like the first time.
**At least, I pass through the SecuROM.

I’ve downloaded and installed the HATRED version, put the DEVIANCE crack on, the game runs, but nothing happens when i get i get to the first race!
I also get random blue screen crashes!

I got the same problem as in post nr.36. i got 2 Gb ram, geforce 7950GT and a Intel core 2, the game suddenly freeze very often for a second or so, seems like it is every time i shift gear on the car.
Can anybody give a serial key??The VITALITY crack still need a serial key. Damn!

This worked for me, and i think it will work for you:
I use the HATRED game, deviance Cr*ck, and this key:
NWJM-2D3U-3YDD-V5P3 (i think vitality used it with their crack, so it most likely works as well, but i don’t know 100%) . THIS IS IMPORTANT: I USED THE ORIGINAL EURO FILES!!!! I also have my gameport disabled, but i am not sure that makes a difference. but just to be sure, i would do the same. i have my video setings on low, but i am sure i could run at least medium-high (GEforce 7800GT OC, 256mb). i do this just in case it would run slowly at higher settings. if it works on high/medium for you, please tell us, along with your hardware, on this forum. if this doesn’t work for you, then i am sorry. it made me very very happy when i saw the little greeen check saying that my serial # was accepted. oh, and btw, i am using my offline pc to run the game, so that may also be a factor. when i move next week i will have a computer room and my internet connection bumped up to fiber and i will get a good router. opps, i’m starting to ramble…well, i am confident it will work for you, but it’s the first time running the game, so it might a one-time thing. i tried all kinds of stuff to get it to work until now. either way, it runs perfect, so good luck, and sorry for taking up al lof your time!!!!!

yeah i can run the game on high with HD very smooth and that serial worked for me, still having problems connectin 2 online thou. im using 64bit turion 2.4ghz and sli go 7900gs – yes its the alienware laptop. But still everytime i try to race the first race it does nothing, the camera continues to rotate 360. Looks like im gonna have to buy the game now. I managed to get it runnin by installin the 1.66a (i think patch) and crackin it at GCW.

Yeah,what’s with the vista,is vista junk or is the game,i have amd athlon 3000+(oc. 3500) 2gb ram,x850 xt,on xp fly all high,no hdr,4x aa,on vista all low,no hdr,no aa,640*480 or 1280*1024 all the same-crap).Atari sucks big time,making game two years and patch 3 months and still nothing!!!Same mistakes on xp as there were without patch!!!

I have the game also and I like it very much. But I also get the black screen that comes up and it will shutdown. I have disabled my gameport. I have a fast computer and I tried the Deviance crack. I have an Intel Graphics Accelerator Driver V6.14.10.4670 driver with an P5B-MX/WIFI-AP mobo. This is very fast and it will run games. What can I do if I tried the most things out? I really wanna play Test Drive Unlimited!

Er, that crack has its own issues – like expensive cars being 10x more expensive than they should be..
I have the blackscreen problem, I can hear a sounds but only blackscreen with an Input Signal Error. Anyone can help?
Working fine here after some initial probs (locking up and graphics distortions) with ViTALiTY crack..but all fine after installing the 1.66 update..

I have the exact same problem as (kih_oskh) I can load the same and I hear all the loading sounds and what not, and when I press my keyboard I can hear it makes noise like its in the menu, but I of course don’t see anythihng at all, its just a black screen, help would really be appreciated. there is a cache file that builds up over time. it causes TDU to hang when it is saving the game. delete the cache file and u wont have the crashing prob anymore. worked wonders for me. I can play fine now. its a wikid game.
i have ah major problem as sum of the other guys here it loads fine an the game runs until the first race where it jus stick with the camera rotating where ever the car stopped an the car isnt visible and i cant go ne further !!!! and i want too cuz this looks like ah great game sumone please help cuz ive tried all the links and none of them have worked so far

i installed the hatred tdu…with the deviance cr*ck…and there goes the black screen…again…i have no game port in hardware…and no one asks for some key…damn i want this game…and i’m out of money

If anyone is having trouble with the first race glitch, just copy the “euro folder” from the cd to the installed location relplacing the original. Should be fixed then

I have a solution for black screen problem. Ive got fps meter “fraps” turned on. Thats why i had this black screen. So try to turn off all your fps meters or othersimilar programs. Hope it will help u:)

hi, I will stir this post a little more, for those who would like to play the first game before the upcoming second in a month from now. Hopefully, google will get them here. It got me.
In order to install and play this you need to:
-Install the ver 1.0 game.
-Copy the “Euro” folder from the CD/ISO in the game directory. Actually it seems that there were files missing. Not starting of the very first race, is due to these files.
-Patch with the official 1.66a patch found using google (search for TestDriveUnlimited_USRetailandDigitalDistribution_Patch_Ver1.66A.exe)
-Install the “Megapack” (optional), found elsewhere, for all
the DLC content. No need to find a crack for it. (serial for
megapack NKEM-Q25E-LAUZ-4W3T)
-copy over a 1.66a crack (the hatred one seems ok) found in http://www.gamecopyworld.com/
-start the game, provide serial (see previous post #78)
-hopefully- play the game.
