Guys from PROCYON released a new CloneDVD of a pretty good racing game Test Drive Unlimited. This finally looks like some decent title after the months of game crap - one would almost think it’s not a computer game but the reality - it looks so good. Test Drive Unlimited is well known for all XboX 360 players, because this is a PC conversion. We can expect a cracked version soon, but in meanwhile, you can play with this sweetie. Insstructions are simple: unpack, mount with latest dt4, install, use included loader, play!

    I have savegame problem (game dosn’t save at all) so I have to start over every time I play the game. I think I’ve got the solution but I’ll need some help. Could someone post clean savegame please (just start game wiht any nick, choose first caracter and rent any car, then exit game).

    finally playing TDU… :D. what’s to say ?? TDU has no rival @ all !! this is #1 ! Kick ass !!

    about that error form #261. needed more ddr. added 512ddr (1,5gb total) and i can play it now.
    so, if the game doesn’t start, try buying (or test it) with a more powerfull video card and add some ddr too.

    Tried on 3 different computers and always get this 2 sec black screen thing which isnt even full screen. Tried everything and all the cracks and nocd and stuff. Could it be that some versions that you can download simply dont work?

    I installed the game already and I have put the crack file ( from GameCopyWorld ) to the installed file.
    When I click the main programme ( TestDriveUnlimited.exe in Programme File ) It just shows a window that has nothing but a black screen. Then the window closed after a few seconds.
    Can anyone give a solution to me please, I really want to play the game!~

    I’m have trouble playing the game. I can’t get past the first race, I’ve bought the house, bought the car then the only option i get is to go the race, when i get there and start the race nothing happens, just sits there, only option is to quit the game.

    Use the Deviance crack on gamecopyworld. Make sure to copy the EURO folder that comes with it over the one in the install folder as well. It worked for me, I can play the whole SP game now.

    1) Start - control panel
    2) System
    3) Hardware
    4) Device Manager
    5) Expand “sound, video, and game controllers”
    6) Right click “standard game port”
    7) Disable

    I’ve tried everything mentioned in every possible combination and permutation — twice. I’ve gotten every error mentioned and now stuck at that blinking black screen…
    And still no luck, I think I’ll just buy it. Not worth the hassle.

    One more thing, I think it is the reason that I am using a low performance notebook. my notebook uses the Intel Mobile 945GM graphics card. So I think it may not reach the requirement.

    OK, THANKS GOD!!! FINALLY!!!
    for those getting error in data.cab , data1.cab , etc, while installing I think I found a solution, first, Internet connection CAN be active, just dont delete the program files/ati folder, dont delete anything, just have 3 copies of the game, one on image, one in dvd, and one in folder on hdd, then install, ignore when error apears, then try and reinstall with other copy, and keep doing it until it will FINALLY installs. Try also changing lenguages.

    The ATI Radeon 9250 256MB PCI has Pixel Shader 1.4 and Vertex Shader 1.1 while the Intel 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family 128 MB Shared(Onboard) has Pixel Shader 2.0 but no Vertex Shader. I don’t care about quality or performence. I just want to know if it runs on my PC. I’m use to laggy games from the onboard graphics and laggy play on curtain games on FULL QUALITY. GTA SA, NFS UG2, and The Sims 2 on full quality had some lag but i’m use to it.

    Not sure what you all are doing. If you dl the image file, mount it in Daemon Tools (newest version with all emulations on), install it full, run YASU ONCE, and enter the serial it will work. I had the emulation once because I accidentally hit YASU twice, but it works fine for me. No online though :(

    When ns-tdu_maxi-posedon.rar on daemon have yasu running & all emulations on both yasu and daemon it still asks for the disk.

    Hey im havin the same problems as Tweeny…it still asks me for the REAL cd this is what it says…Conflict with Emulation Software detected.
    Please have a look at http://www.securom.com/message.asp?m=emu&c=2500 for further, more detailed information.
    everytime….and when u click the site it says…Please unmount your image, close these emulators, and insert the original disc in order to start the application.
    but i dont have the ACTUAL CD i have the mdf and mds files….this is what i do…
    Step 1: Fully Install Game usin DT & mount - TXT-TDU.mdf
    Step 2: Mount ns-tdu_maxi-posedon.mdf
    Step 3: Click YASU ONCE
    Step 4: Auto Runs
    –ERROR!!–
    Everthing i said above….

    I JUST EXTRACT THE MDF FILE WITH ISOMAKER TO DRIVE C:.. THEN I INSTALL FROM THERE..

    THEN I PUT THE CRACK FILE THAT IS AVAIABLE IN THE NET , I COPY PAST SOME FILES, CRACK FILE *.EXE , EURO FOLDER ETC.. I PUT THE KEY NKEM-Q25E-LAUZ-4W3T , THAT WORKS FINE… THEN I DIDNT STAR YASU NEITHER DEAMON.. THE GAME ENTERS FINE.

    aight, ive spent alsmost 2 hours to see if someone had posted my problem but couldnt find one.

    Ive installed the game , got the proper crack , game starts fine , i get sounds when the companies logos shows before the game intro , but absolutly no image. my screen stays black, but i can hear the sound when you pass the mouse over a button on the screen , but cant see anything. anyone can help me ?

    http://forums.megagames.com/forums/showthread.php?p=355628 download the crack unpack the winrar file, paste the crack and the folder in to ur game directory, the reason ur race wont start coz u dont hav the files from the folder, those are the race files. (do not replace the folder with the one in the crack only merge the files) a

    as for the sys req, i’v tested this game on a p4 2.66 wit 512mb ram., 7300le256mb vram, and worked fine with no problems wat so ever but lesser eyecandy, its truly a beautiful game, and

    Had this game all up n running for over six months with Daemon Tools and YASU. Now I installed the 1.66a update and no-cd fix to go with it, I get the same issues as Faith. Guess it’s back to square 1. Should be in bargain bins soon for a tenner(gets boring pretty quick offline n you’ve been around island once).

    I sound like a proper newb, i cant even get the game to install! the file I downloaded contains tonnes of .rar files that are corrupt? Have I just been screwed?

    SOLUTION FOR THE FIRST RACE BUG AND STUFF…

    *Install the game: http://torrentspy.com/torrent/1246410/Test_Drive_Unlimited_MULTI5_PSP_WwW_GamesTorrents_CoM

    *After the installation put the 1.66A patch that can be found everywhere.

    *Next - download Deviance patch: http://m0001.gamecopyworld.com/games/pc_test_drive_unlimited.shtml
    Then put the EURO filder and the other 2 files in the game folder.

    *Finally - copy the exe file from the 1.66 patch folder and paste it in the game folder.

    THATS IT - YOU WILL HAVE THE LATEST PATCH… AND THE GAME WILL WORK ABSL FINE!!!

    PS: YOU DONT NEED ANY OF THOSE STUPID YUSA OR WHATEVER… JUST MOUNT THE IMAGE AND PLAY BABYYYYY

    I’m not sure if anyone will ever read this, but if you like racing sims(ish), like the gran turismo series, you have to check out a slightly more sim version, Live For Speed. It will put its place in your heart wether you’re a nascar weenie or an angler or drifter :D

    the game is working but its so fucking slow whatever i try 2 do i even put the game datails on LOW and is still going slow and i’m not even playing online if got a:
    acer aspire E560-8E7E it comes with….
    Intel pentium D820
    2gb ddr
    i forgot the vid card but thats not the best 1 any1 knows why it is running so F*&%^%$^$#cking slow

    Hi there, i got slower PC as well, 2.2G AMD,1G ram, 6200 Geforce. How ever running it at 640×480 made it smooth enough to play. Also without Internet being connected i had huge slow downs for some reason. I did test that many times and i had very slow frame rates until I get back online and restarted game. Refresh rate overrides off helped little too and you can try RIVA TUNER 2.0 to get your graphics tuned to higher performance then quality. For all those who still cant run this. I have milkman’s release and yasu. I mount it in daemon 4.08 installed it, then exit daemon, but keep it mounted, used yasu to hide drives and turned it off from processes. Ofcourse turn everything else off, you can also turn off Norton in services if it helps you little. Then later, i upgraded to 2G ram and Geforce 7600 GS. That made it absolutely smooth in 1024×768, high quality, with no HDR. If you upgrade your game version with last patch, it will replace exe and yasu trick will fail. I did upgrade anyway to get extra cars but replaced executable back to original and little trick worked out. GOOD LUCK.

    Hi,

    I downloaded the pirate version of TDU just to make sure my system could run it well. It did, so i bought the whole version.

    I uninstalled the old and installed the new. And now it isnt asking for the regestrationkey.

    I read something about deleting files from the regestry, but i dont really know how to do that, and wich files should be deleted. And are there more thing I should do?

    Hope you guys can help, i know you can (hehe)
